The other session {A Homestuck RP}

This is based off an awesome webcomic called Homestuck. On mspaintadventures.com

The beginning is a bit boring (but hilarious), but it gets awesome once you enter the medium, and eventually meet the trolls.
I highly recommend reading it, it's a great read that's updated daily.
But, You do not need to read the comic to join this RP (though I do recommend reading it)

Anyways, let us begin:

Time: Present day
Location: Earth

You have recently turned thirteen. As it so happens you are currently eagerly waiting for a game to arrive in the mail. A game called Sburb. Although it's only the Beta. Your hoping one of your friends on Pesterchum(See world aspects) will play it with you. The rumor's say it is a game that will change the world.

~World Aspects:
The earth that this session will take place in is a bit different from the world we (the RP'ers) live in

Here a but a few of the unique aspect of their world.

1) Guardians: Each young resident of this world has a guardian. A, single. Only one. Whether it be a Father, brother, sister, mother, or any such relative. But they share a unique bond.

2)Speech: The residents of this world can only verbally communicate with their Guardian's, or those they are the caretaker of. Otherwise, they mush communicate using some sort of a communications system. i,e Instant messages.

3) Pesterchum: Pseterchum is an instant messaging server, that requires internet capability, allowing people to communicate with other's who have a pesterchum account. There are two groups you can put people in once you have Pestered(or chatted with) them. Chums(friends) or Trollslum(Blocked). On Pesterchum you have a screen name, not your real name.

4) Sylladex: The SYLLADEX is the inventory system. Most player-controlled characters have a Sylladex to store and retrieve artifacts from, which consists of two decks of cards: the Captchalogue Deck and the STRIFE DECK, though the decks are unnecessary, and anyone can simply pick things up in the usual way. These cards have codes on their backs for an unknown reason.

5) Captchalogue Deck: The Captchalogue Deck is where artifacts are stored to be used later. Artifacts of any size and shape are stored on Captchalogue Cards, and while stored, they have no physical size or weight , making the Sylladex much like a MAGIC SATCHEL. Some sylladices(plural of Sylladex) can store larger objects than others. However, there is a limit to how many different items can be captchalogued, based on the number of cards in the character's deck. Captchalogue cards can be added to the Captchalogue Deck by captchaloguing them and then forcing them out of the deck.

6) Fetch Modi: The fashions in which artifacts are stored to and retrieved from the Sylladex depend on the currently active Fetch Modus. The active Fetch Modus can be chosen as long as the Sylladex has the card with the desired Fetch Modus. Each Fetch Modus has a unique color given to all Captchalogue cards in a Sylladex that uses it. When outside of a Sylladex, Captchalogue cards are red. Each Fetch Modus is more different than the last: some Fetch Modi are based on data structures, some are based on popular board games, some are just mundane, like a wallet.
The back of a Fetch Modus stores the options menu, which can be used to modify the Modus IN VARIOUS WAYS.

So basically, the Captchalouge system can be likened to an inventory system in a game. And the main aspect of this RP will be, playing a game. A game called Sburb.

Personality: Aaron is slightly above average on a smartness scale. But he does posses an unbelievable imagination, and is quite inventive. He's also a bit of a prankster and likes to play jokes on others. He calls himself the Pranking master.
Modus: Stack Modus
Captchalogue cards are arranged in a stack, and the player can only use or otherwise interact with the one at the top of the stack. The top card may also be combined with the previous card if doing so is logical (or if the objects can be physically forced into one another), or use it with the previous card. If an object is picked up while the Sylladex is full, the item at the bottom of the stack will be dropped.
The cards, and sylladex, are a bright magneta color.
Brief History: What is there to say? Aaron grew up in a suburban community with his father.
Interests: Aaron's interests are bad movies, web comics, and video games. He enjoys paranormal lore and magic tricks, the latter of which he also performs. He owns a computer and likes to make programs, no matter how bad they may be. He is left handed, allergic to peanuts, and has a long-standing hatred of the brand Betty Crocker. He can also play the piano quite well

Personality: It's obvious that Shuda is really fucking cool. Shuda is much more skilled than the others, who either through their own cluelessness, admission, or silliness are less capable than he is. His incredible coolness also enables him to stay level-headed when dealing with supernatural things, incredible things, or generally disconcerting things. Despite being the coolest thing since the Fluffer Nutter, Shuda seems to be easily influenced by his friends.
Shuda keeps a calm facade up to the exact moment he flies off the handle. This has happened when something makes him look stupid, like being buried under a mountain of puppet dick.
Modus: Hash map modus.
He has ten cards, each a yellow color. Each is given a number from 1 to 10.
What determines which item goes in which card is the Hash function.
Consonants have a value of 2, and vowels a value of 1. Shuda add's the sum of all the letter's in the name of the item, and puts it in the matching card. If the sum is less then 10, then goes into that card. If in the 10-20 range, he subtracts by 10, and if the sum is greater then 20, he divides by 10.
To access an item inside of a card, he must replace it with something that can go there. Or do an action related to the object that also has the same value as it. Complicatedly cool.
Brief History: He lives in an apartment building with his brother, who he shares a fierce sibling rivalry with, although Shuda still thinks he's awesome.
Interests: A cool dude like Shuda is sure to have plenty. He has a penchant for spinning out unbelievably ill jams with his turntables and mixing gear. He likes to rave about Bands no ones ever heard of but him. He collects weird dead things preserved in various ways. He maintains a number of Humorous blogs, websites, and social network profiles. And if the inspiration strikes, he won't hesitate to drop some phat rhymes on a mofo and represent. He also has a collection of unbelievably shitty swords.

Brief personality: He is obsessed with puppets and has decorated his apartment with them. His collection includes both paintings of them and various marionettes, dressed in super cool gangster/pimp clothing. Bro has one signature ventriloquism puppet he uses to rap and is never far from: Lil Bob. He enjoys playing mind games and is stealthy like a ninja. He is a master of different kinds of Modi. He knows how to weaponize a sylladex.

A boy stood in his room, examining a calender. He had a mess of black hair resting atop his head, and was dressed in a simple white shirt, with an image depicting a glob of blue goo on the front, and blue jeans.

At the moment the boy was quite annoyed a she examined the calendar. Today was his birthday, April 17'th. At the moment he was eagerly awaiting the arrival of a game called Sburb. It was supposed to arrive in the mail, yesterday, but hadn't. He turned away, from the calendar grumbling, after having crossed out another day on the calendar.

The boy, Aaron, walked to the window and looked out at the mailbox that stood by his driveway. His eyes narrowed, before he turned around and his eyes flicked to his computer. He wondered if one of his chums was pestering him, he slid into the chair and opened the pester chum application.

Muire sat in front of the TV in her room, holding an Xbox controller. She was mashing the A and B buttons, trying to get the stupid blue hedgehog on the screen to do the stomp attack on those stupid floaty lava platforms. Too bad the B button on her controller was partially damaged. It made life so hard sometimes. "A... B!" She shouted at the Xbox. The red B button proceeded to fall off of the controller.

Too bad. Looks like she'd have to get another controller at Gamestop.

Standing up, she pressed the power button on the Xbox and TV and proceeded to her computer. Sitting down, she opened Pesterchum to see if her sister was online. Probably not, but it was worth a shot.

Aaron saw his chum, WTFQ? blink into an online status and he proceeded to pester her.

PlasmaTrickster began pestering WTFQ? at 12:53

PT: hey

WQ: Howdy. I was checking to see if Ferris was online. Damn B button my controller broke again.

Muire sighed as she replied. Looked like her sister didn't have wifi, wherever she was at the moment. She was such a weirdo sometimes.

WQ: Oh, happy B-day, BTW

She added that quickly, remembering that it was his birthday.

Izzy took her earbuds out, and glanced at her Ipod. She was listening to The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, which always depressed her a little. She quickly ran a brush through her purple-dyed hair, and changed into a black T-shirt with pink words that read "Na Na Na Na Na" Down the length of the shirt. She sat down at her computer with a sigh, and got on Pesterchum. She saw that WQ and PT were online, and decided to pester them a little.

RF: What's up?

Rawfacesrjustgross [RF] began pestering Plasma Trickster [PT] at 12:55

PT: nothing much

Izzy typed quickly, and put her earbuds back in. She switched to her favorite song, and jammed out while awaiting PT's response.

WQ: Nope, I sent you nothing at all. AT ALL. No, I would never ever send you anything ever.
WQ: Of course I sent you something dingbat

WQ: Giving you a hint
WQ: Awesomebunny helped.

'Jeff the Awesomebunny' was an animated series on Youtube that Muire had started a few years back. It had come pretty far and the animation had gotten a lot better lately, and was filled with lulz for everyone to enjoy.

Muire had sent him an exclusive 'Happy Birthday' episode on a CD and after he got it she would proceed to upload it as a special, but not before he watched it. That would ruin the surprise.

Somewhere in an apartment building a really cool guy turned his Pesterchum status to online. He rapidly typed out the same word in three different conversations.

CarthologyGenerator [CG] began pestering <various individuals> at 12:57

CG: yo

RF: Mabye. Find out.
RF: Ok you got me, I did get you something! you're gonna love it!
RF: It's not a My Chemical Romance CD, though

Izzy picked up her phone when she had gotten a text from her friend. It read: Quick! Call this number! Emergency!
She called the number wuickly and an automated voice came on
"Hello! Welcome to how to entertain an idiot! If you actually called this number, you are an idiot. I bet you're sitting there listening, completely captivated, eyes glazed over, because you are a fucking idiot!"
"God dammit" She yelle, and hung up.

(Kaley just sent me that message. And I called the number. I feel dumb.)

PT: what is itttttt?
PT: tell me!

Aaron's eyes flicked as a notification came on, a chum was trying to pester him.

PT: hey
CG: Happy Birthday bro.
PT: Thanks! hehe
PT: did u get me anything? : )
CG: No
PT: oh....
PT: D:<
PT: y u no give me birthday present!?
CG: haha!
CG: i was just kiddin with u
CG: I got u something
CG: what kind of bro would I be if i didnt?
PT: oh....
PT: hehe thanks!
PT: I knew u would pull through!

RF: I'll never tell you!

Izzy laughed to herself, glancing at the wrapped present that was sitting on her bed. It was a bit small, but it was still awesome. She had got him Call of Duty: Black Ops.

PT: why nooootttttt?

(( These chums live nowhere near each other, they mail the presents and she would have already had to send it if it was to arrive on time.))

Muire finished the conversation with her sister and sighed. She was lucky if she got to talk to her once every week.
