Mysterious Letter- RP

Young trainers of various skills are sent a mysterious letter with a ticket to Unova hidden within. It say’s nothing other than you are invited to challenge the Unova league and are allowed with you one Pokemon from your team to travel with you, all other Pokemon must be caught in the region.

You arrive a Driftveil City with a map, some money, and your Pokemon. It's up to you to train and battle towards the top.


1. Post should be at least four sentences, writers block(wb) is understandable but not all the time.
2. If you have writers block please tell everyone.
3. GH and I's word is law, if we are displeased you can be banned either partly or permanently.
4. This is a MA 15 rp, which means gore and such is allowed to be portrayed, just don't go overboard.
5. Battles, fainting, death, etc. must be portrayed realistically.

(Lets get this started shall we?)

The sun shone on the waters of Driftveil's sea port. A large boat pulled into port, it carried on it people from all across the world. Standing on board was a young women, her short brown hair blowing in front of her face. She was the first off the boat when it finished pulling in, right behind her was a large Houndoom with a scar on it's right cheek. She let her hand drop to the Houndoom's head as they moved to the side so the other passengers could depart. "Well Titan, here we are." She said, hiking her large pack over her shoulder. "Lets find a Pokemon center and get stocked up." The girl had done her research, Pokemon centers and marts where in the same building in Unova. She adjusted the goggles on her head so it would keep back her hair. There was one thing that caused her to pause and look back at the boat, she couldn't get rid of the feeling she hadn't been the only one to get that letter... That mysterious letter

With hair blowing in the light wind, and a wide smile as they finally docked into Driftveil City, Amy pulled off her sunglasses, making her way off of the boat, with a large Absol trailing behind her. Stark made a load groaning noise and wavered slightly as they made it onto land. Amy laughed. "Oh, Stark! It wasn't that bad!" she giggled, resting her hand on the Absol's back to keep it steady. "You'll get used to it soon," she promised him, walking past Sacha as she had not noticed the girl yet. "Though I do wonder if I was the only one to get that letter.." she said conversationally to Stark, who just shrugged with another soft moan.

Titan nudged his head against Sacha's side, when she looked down he used his nose to point towards the tall blonde that had just walked past. He made a low rumble in his throat. "That's weird.. she looks familiar." Sacha mumbled. Titan went around behind Sacha and pushed her forward. She stumbled but found her balance before she smashed into the girl.

As the sound of the blaring ship's arrival, a young girl lay sleeping in a small bed in one of the many shiprooms. Blinking her eyes open softly, she looked around the area. There was a mini fridge and TV, both which she hadn't used, and a nicely carved wooden desk. There sat her backpack, her lone pokeball, and her mysterious letter. Standing up, she drew in a long breath, washing away the slight pit of nervousness that grew inside her belly. On the desk was a mirrior. As she stood before it, she starred at her youngish, pale face. No scars, no marks. Not even the slightest blimish. That was the way she liked it. Her long dark marroon hair hung straight at the top, but as the strands reached their bottom, they curved into thick coils and slight hoops. Her sharp green eyes had glinted across the mirrior, starring down at the red and white capsule next to the bag she was to carry. "So ,we've finally arrived, Kitty, my girl. How exciting, to travel to a completely new place and already have a challenge on the table. Well, let's get out there." She snatched up her back and threw it over her shouder. Grabbing the pokeball in one hand, she began playfully balancing it on her palm as her other hand reached for the letter, shoving it downward into her pocket. Leaving the room she was given, she headed through a long hallway that led to the deck. Through the door, a burst of sweet sea air buffeted her face and a small smile crept into place. Tossing the pokeball into the sky, she shouted out, her heart filled with butterflies,"Come on out Kitty! See the new world!" The ball exploded into light and a large dragon type pokemon bursted from it. It was a mixed mash-up of greens and reds and it came down beside her. "Yes, Kitty," she said, stroking her small hand across the Flygon's head. "Welcome to Unova!"

Amy felt someone bump into her, with a small squeak, she pitched forward, barely managing to catching herself from falling. The Absol let out an exclamation of surprise, jumping back before looking over at the other trainer warily. Amy straightened herself up, turning around to look at the trainer had bumped into her. "Oh, are you alri-" she began to ask as she turned around, only to cut off as she looked into a familiar face. "Sacha is that you? Oh my gosh! How long has it been??" she asked excitedly, a wide grin beginning to form.

Sacha slapped herself on the forehead. "Damn Amy, two years!" She said. She remembered their meeting as clear as day. She also remembered how the girl had stayed with her through those awful days as she helped the police with their investigation. Titan greeted the Absol with a friendly bump of the head and a light 'ruff'.
Sacha was distracted by the appearance of the Flygon. She already missed Barrow, her faithful dragon. But if she'd brought him Titan would of snuck on board and followed her anyway, he was very protective. And the letter stated, one Pokemon, and who was she to break a rule?

Amy laughed. "How have you been? I mean, I know that the incident hit you pretty hard, and we did send letters, and stuff, but, you know..." she said somewhat sheepishly, looking over at her friend worriedly. Stark was surprised at the Houndoom's sudden friendliness. "Absol?" it questioned loudly, blinking at the Houndoom curiously.
"Which reminds me, did I ever tell you about Blaze (her Blaziken)?" she asked Sacha.

Rayla looked at the passengers and turned to Kitty. "Its seems I must get off through this line, so...." She reached into her bag and pulled out a silver necklace with a pokeball pendant on it. She put it round the Flygon's neck and smiled. "Now, you may got off to make your daily rounds. You'll have to catch up on the training that we missed during this ride since the letter said be had to travel by boat instead of air. Now go on." She continued through the line, toward the ticket collector while the large dragon type shot into the sky and zipped around the towering skysrapers, watching her reflection pass by. She got overly excited and Kitty dropped in altitude, heading for an icecream cart. At once,the necklace she had been given sounded and the trainer's voice was clear. "Kitty! Don't scared the citizens! Go up! Go up!" The flygn snorted annoyingly and flew upward. The trainer, now getting off the ship, wore a small, barely visible headpiece that conected to the pendant. She looked around, her eyes wide with curiousity.

"You mentioned him a few times, but I never got the whole story." Sacha said looking away from the Flygon and back to her friend.
(Pokemon can speak to each other but do it like I do)
"Good to see a friendly face in a strange land" Titan said to Stark, of course to their trainers it would sound like a bunch of repetitions of the Pokemon's species name with some animal sounds thrown in. Titan's gaze followed the Flygon for a while. "Now that's just weird."

"Well... He died around two years ago, not too long after you left. He died of Pokerus," Amy sighed, looking down at her feet. "We thought that he had been treated and everything, but it showed up again," she said sadly, looking down at Stark. "It was while I was in the Hoenn League as well.."
"What is she doing? Where is her trainer?" Stark asked, looking over at the Flygon. "I mean, has she ever heard of acting sensible in public?" he said, acting his usual perky self.

"I've heard it's pretty rare for Pokerus to mutate to such a dangerous state." Sacha said. "Normally it's beneficial." She rubbed the back of her neck and went back to watching the Flygon. "Amy... you weren't invited here by a letter were you?" She asked.
"Her forms good, Barrow could take her though." Titan commented. He glanced up at his trainer, he always kept a close eye on her. "How long have you been with Amy?" He asked.

Rayla stood, checking her map to see where the nearest Pokecenter was. Without taking her eyes of the map, she yelled into the device on her ear. "Kitty! HEEL!" A moment stood paused, but then, soaring in a downward dive, the Flygon appeared, landing right next to her trainer in a storm of gravel. Rayla glanced at her from the corner of her eye and muttered,"Next time, pick up the speed. You've grown lazy." She began walking toward the red-roofed building and Kitty followed her. "Thank goodness the others weren't here. They'd be laughing at me, even Charmer." Rayla eyes caught sight of a strong looking Absol and Houndoom. What well trained-looking pokemon. I wonder what type of training meathods their trainers use? Oh well, time to hit the road.

"It is, but according to the doctor, Blaze wasn't very healthy to begin with. He did catch those small sicknesses like colds really easily," Amy sighed, but she widened her eyes in surprise at her friend's question. "How did you know?" she asked with a smile. "You must be psychic or something!" she laughed. "Wait... Were you invited with a letter as well??" she asked.
"It would be somewhere around three years now. I was there when Amy beat the Pokemon League, and when Amy lost Blaze, and when Amy met Sacha, and... Oh, well there are a lot of times that I've been with Amy," Absol said with a shrug. "How long have you been Sacha?"

"Year and a half now, she saved my life. but lets not get into that. Looks like we're heading out." He said as Sacha started walking. She fished the letter out from inside of her jacket and waved it at Amy as she strode in the direction of the Pokecenter. "I studied a map of the area on the way here, the center is near the top of the city." She said tucking the letter back into her jacket. She noticed other trainers heading the same way, including the Flygon's trainer and a girl with a Cyndaquil. "Looks like we are not the only ones my friend."

Rayla glanced back at the other two trainers she had noticed before. Waah?!cThey're heading the same- That's letter! She had noticed it briefly as it waved in the girl's hand. She turned back to see Kitty making faces at a group of Pidove. "Oh Kitty, must you act out? Why didn't I bring Charmer?" Kitty whipped her head to face Rayla with a look of annoyance. What?! Bring Charmer?! No, not that stupid excuse of a Charmelion! It was peeeeeerfect for this adventure! Rayla pulled open a door and mumbled under her breath,"Why couldn't Buzzer have a more calm, less head-strong kid?"

Amy began to walk beside her, noticing the letter that Sacha had waved in front of her face. She reached into her bag, pulling out the same letter. "Wow, what luck that we happened to get the same letter!" she laughed. "Its a good thing you did your research, because I have absolutely no idea where we are going!" she laughed again.
"Oh! Look at this place! Look at that Pokemon! Hey, look at that persons hair! How do they keep it up like that?" Stark said excitedly, looking around everywhere with great curiosity, only to be distracted by something else.

"I always plan ahead, at least these days I do." She said shoving her hands into her pockets.
"Your quite the excitable one aren't you?" Titan said his voice laced with boredom. Titan preferred traveling in the wilderness, human settlements bored him greatly. Sacha stuck her foot in the door's way to stop it from closing completely behind the Flygon's trainer. She pulled it open quickly. "Woah this is allot bigger then the ones back home, or anywhere else I've been for that matter." Lots of people turned to stare at them. "Oh I forgot, it's unlikely they've ever seen our Pokemon before. They don't get Houndooms and Absols around here" She commented, the people eventually stopped staring and went back to their business. "We have to register our trainer cards, lets find where they keep the PC's"

"Wow, this place really is big! Its gonna take forever for me to get used to them now!" she said, looking around her, noticing the people staring at her Absol, as well as Sacha's Houndoom. "To be honest, I'm not used to people looking at my Pokemon! I haven't travelled very far in this world," she chuckled, eyeing the Flygon and its trainer before spotting the PC's. "There they are!" she pointed to where they were.
"Well, I suppose you could say that, I mean, how can you not find everything so interesting?" Stark asked. "Look at those people! They're just about as interested in us as I am interested in them!"

Rayla seated herself at a table by the mart section of the building. If they're going to register their cards, I should too. But I'll wait and shop first. Kitty was sitting next to the table, making odd noises that seemed to please some of the small children in the center. They climbed on her back and tail and pulled on her wings. Though she was currently being train to show no mercy, she enjoy the kids company since Rayla was too big to be playing like a toddler. As she walked up to the counter, a moderately old woman greeted her. "Yes, I would like 50 Full Heals, 70 Max Revives, 150 Ultra Balls, ummm-" She was cut off when the clerk replied,"Ma'am, do you even have enough money for all of these things?" Rayla chuckled and said,"Oh course! I have plenty. Now, I'll also need a couple of ropes, and 500 Max Repels. Never know when they'll be helpful." The clerk rang her up and said,"But dearie that's nearly $103,000. You sure you have enough?" Rayla pulled out a bag of money and snatched out the money needed to afford the items. "Dear, where'd you ummmmm get all this money?" Rayla smiled brightly and said,"Well, I'm pretty well known in Johto, though I'm not surprised that people here don't know me. I'm Rayla Grython, Master dragon tamer in progress. I get my fix-ins pretty easily. I just call in a loan from my friend, Lance." The lady handed her items over and said,"O-oh....ok then, bye bye now." It was clear that the conversation was making her uncomfortable.

Sacha quickly walked over to the PC. She fished her trainer card out from her satchel and logged onto the PC. The system was a little different to what she was used to, defiantly more advanced. It didn't take her long to figure it out and log in her details. She could now access 'some-ones' PC as well as her personal storage system and her Pokemon, she didn't use Bills system, instead she used her mothers. She sent a quick mail to her mother to tell her she had arrived safely before logging off to let Amy use it.
"I prefer the great outdoors, though these people are interesting." Titan admitted.

Amy quickly got on to the computer, finding it pretty easy to get used to the different controls and systems. She found all of her Pokemon in 'Someone's PC' after she had registered herself into the system. She allowed herself to send a brief message to her parents, telling them that she was safe and that she would talk to them later. She signed off and looked over to Sacha. "Where next?" she asked.
"Well, the outdoors can be fun as well!" Stark said happily.

(To bad he's really, really gay and married.)

"I think we should wait and see who else is hanging around." Sacha said eyeing the door as a couple more trainers made their way in. "I'm getting a weird feeling about this whole letter thing." She said leaning against the wall, she stayed close to the PC so she could watch the other trainers.
Titan went and sat at Sacha's heels. The native Unovians kept their distance from the intimidating looking Houndoom. "Your just a bundle of sun-shine aren't you" he said with a bit of a smile

(I should probably go to bed soon.....

But yeah, I should head off to bed soon as well. School Certificate tomorrow! Yay!!!))
Amy nodded in agreement, watching the Unovian's with interest. "I have a feeling that we weren't the only people to get that letter," she murmured softly. She looked down at Stark.
"You bet I am!" Stark said enthusiastically.
