Outta the Foliage; Into the Filth... Junkclan's Tale

"Weeeee!!!" The wild pale blue she-cat's maw gaped in excitement, her blue-tinged tongue lolling about, the saliva whipped from its spongy, pink surface.

"Bluetongue, would you calm down?! Its already bad enough that I was stuck with you for the noon scour patrol," grumbled a new voice, his dark amber eyes flicking annoyingly between the hyperactive she-cat and the metallic chain that was coiled loosely around his tail like a steel snake, his stony grey paws flouncing boredly as he gently pawed at the battered end of the chain.

"Oh Chaintail, you're always just so grumpy! I think its either, A: Because you don't have enough sugar in your diet; B: You're not in the mood for greasy food; or C: You heard from Cherrysour that I put that chunk of beehive under your bedding." She spun around from where she was watching the scene fly by, scooting across the slick, smooth surface over to the bigger tom.

Spinning his head around to face her, he yowled,"You put it in my nest?!"

"....No, but whatever Cherrysour says is totally a lie!" giggled Bluetongue cheekily before adding,"Now hush up- we don't want to lose our ride."

Grumbling, Chaintail readied himself by standing up and unsheathing his claws, digging into the metallic flooring beneath him. "Psh, you were the one being loud. Get ready."

The two took stance, and as the silver truck flew down the street, the pair of cats sprang out from the back, leaping high into the air over the black road dotted with yellow and filled with rushing cars, landing safely into their target- a passing garbage truck heading to the dump.

"Success!" squealed Bluetongue, her bright blue eyes glittering brilliantly as she dug through the rubbish with her now dirtied paws, her companion rolling his eyes and doing the same. "Mcstar's gonna be so proud!!"

Chaintail snorted. "Yeah, as usual. I wonder if Felt and Trashcan are doing as well as us?"

"Who knows, but we better get back to camp. We don't want our clan to starve."

"God Bluetongue, they're not going to starve. After all, Junkclan is full of survivors..."
