The wolves of the beyond are wolves that live in a land far away from civilazation called The Beyond. It has a ring of 5 volcanoes that are gaurded by the watch wolves. The watch wolves always have some kind of defect that makes them 3 times as strong as any other wolf. The wolves of the beyond tend to have green eyes but it can vary. Most of them are rather thin.
There are three wolf clans. If my names suck you can come up with other ones, just tell me they suck and I'll change 'em.
The three clans: The Clan of the Burning Embers, The Clan of thr Rushing Waves, and The Clan of the Howling Winds. You can make a loner if you want to.

I'm just gonna start calling the clans by what they're named for. So the Ember clan's territory is a barren field with a couple trees spread out. A river runs near the east, seperating it from the Wave clan. It is seperated from The Wind clan by the ring of volcanoes.
The Wind Clan's territory is a wind-swept land scarce of water besides a lake, fed by the river's run-off. It still has lots of prey, though. The volcanoes heat up the land by night and they are constanly spewinf embers that always seem to land on the opposite side of them.
The Wave Clan's teritory has an ocean on the far side of it.They're territory is a little cooler since it isn't warmed by the volcanoe. The wolves there sometimes eat fish in times of great starvation.

Watch Wolves: The watch wolves gaurd the sacred ring of the volcanoes. What they gaurd inside is unknown to the others.All watch wolves have some physical deformity THAT THEY ARE BORN WITH. Their parents are banished from whatever clan they were from but can still join another one. All the watch wolves are blessed with getting stronger from their deformity. All watch wolves are adults. Until they are adults they are just omegas in the clan and eat last. Watch wolves aren't allowed to mate. (Hint: Whatever the watch wolves gaurd will be revealed in the plot)
Plot: Ok, um..... Let's say that The clan of the Howling winds has been scented all over the Ember Clan's teritory. The clan's occasionally fight just like warrior clans. Also, the 2 of the watch wolves have gone mysteriousley missing.

Cody padded out of his den, breathing in the crisp, cool morning air. His paws were moistened by the dew that collected on the soft grass. He went to the center of the clan, inside a circle of bones and howled loudly, calling for all the wolves to join together for a meeting.



Alice slowly crept out of her den. She glanced around camp, taking in all the sleeping wolves that had joined it. She padded into the Bonecircle and howled. "Let all the wolves of The Clan of the Burning Embers join for a meeting!" she yelled.

Gale's eyes slowly fluttered open at his leader's call. The blue-grey wolf rose from where he had slept. He shook his fur, it fluffed up before settling down on his pelt. The wolf was barely a year old, yet mature for his age. And no beginner to battles. For while he was only a year old, he had faced many near death experiences. The wolf strode towards where his leader stood. He hopped over a sleeping wolf form on his way before continuing on his walk.

Myst silently walked over to Cody. Her silver fur sparkled with dew, and had been groomed so her scar was mostly hidden. You'd have to look closely to find it.



Luna raised her sleek black head and got to her paws. She approached the Bonecircle with her head held up proudly. Even though she was nothing, she still longed to become the Beta Female when she was old enough.



Seth's fur rippled like wind as he paced around the camp. The other wolves were all sleeping, and he had nothing to do.

Alice watched with a smile as Gale strode up to the meeting place. She called out, "Gale, you will be made beta-male of The Clan of the Burning Embers!! We hope you will serve us well!"

Cody looked happily at Crystalrain and Myst. "Myst will be our alpha-female! Crystalrain shall be our beta-female! I hope you will both serve this clan well for many moons!" he yelled fiercely.

Gale as beta male, huh? Luna thought. She looked at the midnight-blue wolf curiously.


Myst grinned happily. "Thank you for this honor. I will not disappoint."

"Huh?" Gale asked, his jaw dropping.His tongue lolled out, in wonder. He blinked rapidly, all the grogginess and drowsiness rapidly disappearing. This was the last thing he had expected so early in the morning, but none the less it sent a tingle of joy accelerating through his entire body. "I-I mean." Gale said, rapidly recovering himself. "I'll do my best." Gale said, his chest suddenly puffing out with pride, the sun rose higher in the sky and abeam of light fell onto the spot where Gale stood. The blue-grey wolf looked truly majestic, even the ugly scar on the side of his face shone with a radiance, a scar of honor.

Alice smiled, suppressing a chuckle. "I'm glad you accept this honor. We will treat you with the newfound respect of a full beta!" She howled.


Cody smiled. "Good, I trust you will help lead our clan with all your power," he yelled, loud enough to wake the whole clan.

Luna sighed and sat down. Beta Female is still open, thankfully. But will it be, once I'm old enough to take the post? she wondered.

Myst's ear flicked. "No need to be so loud," she chuckled jokingly.

Seth sighed and layed down.

Cody chuckled. "Is that anyway to talk to your fellow alpha?" he barked happily, cuffing her over the ear.

Gale nodded, "Anyone up for a hunt?" he asked, loudly. Becoming a Beta, hadn't seemed to affect his personality much.

"I'll go," Luna spoke up. She was an accomplished hunter, and wouldn't mind showing off her skills a little.

Myst growled playfully. "We are equals now," she pointed out. She nipped his ear lightly.

"I'll go with you to celebrate your new rank," Alice barked. She leaped out of the bonecircle and stretche the morning soreness out of her legs.

"I guess so, but I'll always have been an alpha first!" Cody barked playfully. He stuck his long, pink tongue out.

Gale nodded, his stomach growled hungrily as he led the way out of the camp.
