The Alleys RP

Riker's group was growing at a steady rate, their numbers filling with abandoned kittypets, rogues, and traitors from different clans. Still, they met in secret and scattered when they were done, covering themselves in garbage to block their scents. Soon, very soon, it would be time to attack. But there was something that she needed to do first.

Dragon and Wolf returned from their undercover work in Frostclan with much information about clan life- who the leader was, how many warriors they had... Riker memorized every factor as Wolf explained it to her.

Scuaise had a low rank (but at least he had a rank) in The Resistance and was learning all that he could in order to become a respected fighter and to help his friends.

"A steady paw and a quick eye" Coal meowed. Several of the older cadets where surprised by how quickly Coal and Thunder had caught up with the training.
Mercury stood by Greon's side, she was on her rounds through the Alleys and had stopped to check up on the training. She eyed the young tom with interest, she knew the Claw family where one of the rarer in the Alleys, the only cats that had fewer members where the Pelt's, and that was because they were nearly wiped out by the Queen. In the past two moons the silver she-cat had grown larger and stronger, yet also more beautiful. It was harder then she thought to politely spurn the advances of various young toms, it was so much easier with Thornheart here, the didn't dare come near her then. She really did miss her friend.

(( mercury a scout yet? ))

Greon nodded approvingly with a kind smile. "Indeed they are." he said. He glanced over at Mercury to the side "Watch out." he said "Before you know it, they'll be better then you." he teased. "Especially if you keep lazing around." he added.

Thunder listened quietly and intently, but occasionally glanced around at the other cadets. He really hadn't bothered to get to know any of them, except by name, which was neccessary. But it wasn't like he absolutely had to befriend each of them.

Mercury tossed her head and snorted. "I do more then you." She grumbled. "You get to make all these little ones do your work for you." She glanced back over at the cadets. "You should probably get them practicing now. I have to report back to HQ." She dipped her head to Greon and quickly made her way up through the roof and out into the Alley's. It was a much different place in Spring, green was sprouting up every where, growing through the cracks in buildings.

(Yes she is.)

Scuaise hardly spoke anymore, his boyish excitement dimmed so that he could further his training. It was obvious that some cats didn't trust him, but that didn't bother the black cat at all. He just wanted to learn.

Greon chuckled good-naturedly and turned back to the cadets. "Now where was I..." he said, trailing off as he tried to remember.

(Where is Scuaise? Like what part of the alleys.)

"Ambushes." Coal meowed simply. A couple of the cadets groaned, they were hoping Greon would forget.

Thunder held back a snort. They shouldn't be complaining about ANYTHING that could ever help them. They'd probably only realize that when in a situation where knowledge they didn't care to get is needed unless they want to die.

"Ah yes." Greon exclaimed. "Thank you Coal." he nodded as he went into a long explanation about how hunting techniques could be used in ambushed. Stealth, and such.

Coal shared a knowing look with his brother, the two young toms knew they would get better training here then they would of in the clan. He supposed for these cats it was alright to joke and complain, but for the two clan born there was nothing to complain about, the training was a blessing to them.

"Right then, split up into groups of three." Greon yowled.

Thunder sighed lightly. Three, huh? He still hated working with others, even though he'd have to in any case, unless he became a loner in the forest or a kittypet with no companions. Neither idea appealed to him in the slightest.

Coal was separated from his brother and Dust and came to stand with two larger cats, a brother and sister. The tom was not the brightest star in the sky and followed his sister's every word. The she-cat though, she was dangerously smart.

Scuaise looked around for two cats to group up with.

( I'm assuming he's a cadet. )

Thunder remained sitting with his tail curled around his paws. His irritated golden eyes dared anyone to bother to group up with the dark brown tabby.

(Shove him with Thunder and Dust)

Dust padded to stand by Thunder. "Partners?" he mewed, questioningly. Seemingly ignoring the glare in his cousin's eyes.
Everyone was in groups, except for three cats. "Right then, you three." Greon mewed, he flicked his tail at Scaiuse, Dust and Thunder.

"Guess I have no choice," Thunder grumbled. He got to his paws and looked over at Greon.

"Right then. You have a few minutes. Get to know your team-mates." Greon said. "I recommend it." he added with a devious glint in his eyes.

"I'm dust of the Claw." The tuxedo tom spoke up, turning to his two team mates.

Scuaise nodded and padded towards Dust and Thunder, without saying a word. "I'm Scuaise."

"Thunder of the Claw," the cadet said shortly.

Dust nodded "Nice to meet you."

"Redundant name sharing is redundant." Scuaise replied.

( Dude, didn't you say everyone knew each other by name because it was required? XD )

"I am Coal of the Claw" The tom said to his partners. "I am Berry of the Pelt, and this is my brother Leaf. I look forward to working with you." She meowed. "I look forward to working with you too." He meowed. Talking done they turned towards Greon.
