PMD: Explorers - Snowcrest Exploration Guild

Zephyr flinched back and roughly pulled his chest fur out of reach. Don't need no stupid kids guidin' me around like a puppy... He thought narrowing his eyes. He walked slowly behind the children, hoping they'd get out of there as soon as possible to keep his social image from getting any worse. ... Not... that I care.

(I got bored- drew a sketch of Suri and Zephyr. He's so much bigger than her in mah mind XD)

Suri merely shrugged it off and continued ahead, stopping by the Nido merchants and collecting a few more Oran berries as the two other partners trudged along, well, trudged and fluttered along. By the time Reme and Aria arrived, Suri was already finished tucking the round, tough-shelled berries within their bag and carrying it over to Aria. "here you go then." Suri's tone was calm, yet endearing as she helped slip the khaki strap of the bag over one fluffy, cloud-like wing before backing up and continued,"Alright then. Everything's in order. Now, to Frosty Forest we go."

"To save Weedle!" Aria added, hoping to lighten up the mood of the group as she noticed Reme glaring at Zephyr from behind and Suri marching ahead of the team, her once happier expression now blank as they walked.

Zephyr rolled his eyes, walking casually behind the younger Pokemon, eager to get out of the line of sight of Pokemon that could possibly interpret his actions in a different way. He huffed, gesturing forward for the children to move faster.

It was only about fifteen minutes before they reached the entrance to the dungeon. Fifteen awkward and silence-filled minutes. As they reached Frosty Forest, Suri stopped abruptly and slowly moved one hand to her forehead.

Reme and Aria stopped to watch their leader, nearly tripping the Zebstrika behind them, their bitter and timid gazes growing curious and serious at the same time.

Suri hummed a little, slightly hypnotic tune that seemed to sway back and forth with a slowly rumbling, yet soothing melody, her small body swaying along to the tune.

Woah! That was the first bump in forever!!!)

"Yes, I understand. So you say it had dark black and deep purple fur and glowing red eyes?" Swoobat asked, clearly concerned. It sounded like Tavern had encountered one of the Pokemon that'd caught the disease. This was becoming too much. He had to do something about it. "Guildmaster Ninetales, we must call a meeting. The apprentices must be warned," He said.
"Yes, Swoobat. Come." Ninetales padded from her den, thick tail dotted with snowflakes.

Zephyr paused, glaring at Suri. "What do you think you're doing? Le'ts go alread-" He paused and breathed out. Just be patient... Augh, these kids are driving me insane. Stupid... Alright, it's alright. Just a bit more... get them in trouble... get them back out... make sure they don't figure it out. Alright, that's the plan. He shook his head, trying to keep his brain from overloading as he waited for the other Pokemon to get a move on.


Feir had given up on the idea of finding a partner- at least for now. He needed to grab a drink, take a nap, something to keep him occupied and keep his mind off of his half brother.

"Apprentices of the Snowcrest Guild, join!" Ninetales called, her eyes scarily calm. Her fur glittered as she sat, waiting for the apprentices to fill the guild's main room.

"Ah, what is it this time?" Desire mumbled, getting out of her bed with straw sticking to half of her face. She brushed it off and went to see what Ninetales thought was so important.

Suddenly, Suri stopped and regained herself. "There are 6 floors ahead. Weedle is on the 4th floor. Along the way, there two Snorunts, so watch out, Aria." She slowly walked ahead, followed by her two partners.

Reme glanced back and the seething Zephyr, sneering as they walked. Moron, one doesn't just charge ahead into unknown grounds. Only a really great leader could come up with a strategy like Suri can!

Shade glanced around, making sure nobody saw him as he slipped past yet another crevice lined with shimmering ice. His paws had grown used to the cold and it barely bothered him anymore. He came upon a gentle slope, winding down a mountside. Looking back once again, he carefully stepped onto the slope, stifling a yelp of surprise as he started slipping down it. A smile spread across his furry, light brown face. His ears were pushed back by the wind as he slid down on all fours, his rump in the air as he leaned forward to gain speed. How he loved letting down the act of someone so tough on the icy slopes.

"Let's get a move on. I'll just blast 'em." Zephyr tossed his head restlessly, itching to go whoop some pokemon butts. He pawed at the ground and raised his head.

Suri walked forward at an average speed, flanked by Reme, as Aria flew ahead. Her little legs could only carry her so far in a certain amount of time, so she was glad for her Aron friend's company. And of course Zephyr's too.

Batting her cottony wings, Aria darted around a couple of sharp corners of the looming, icy walls and past the dead, bony-like trees of the large clearing ahead. As she did, she swiftly dodged a sleeping Snorunt and swooped low to snag a clove of Iron Thorns, her beady eyes wavering with the excitement she got every time she was sent ahead to gather items to help her team. Hmmm...A Cheri berry may be nice if I can get one. Who knows how Reme and Zephyr are to behave while I'm gone?! Her small body shuttered at the thought of paralysis.

(THE HASH SLINGING SLASHER)

Shade shook snow from his tail. His paws started to sting. He was getting too cold for his own comfort-ah, he'd soon have to leave his icy slopes and return to the guild, where Tavern would probably inquire where he'd been. Ah, screw Tavern! he thought, walking towards the guild. As he arrived, he noticed a Ninetales looking quite annoyed to have only a few apprentices sitting around the Guild's meeting room.
"Present!" He made himself known by calling out and flicking his bushy, white-specked tail.

(Lol I love that episode....Hey, Tor- when can we make more charries? I have some ideas)

Do it. *Makes character*)

"Yui!! Yuuuii!! Where are YOOOOOOU?! YUUUUUUUUUUIIIIIIIIIII!!!"

"Chiroro, you dunce! Screaming like that in the guild is sure to cause unneeded excitement among the rest of us!" His small paws pattered against the ground as he raced after his absent-minded partner, the Teddiursa of Ninetails' Guild. Toruka's snot dribbled flounced around in the air, rippling as the Cubchoo attempted to to run wobbly. As he turned a corner, he grazed his shoulder and right flank against Shade, his buoyant dribble attracting the snow from the Eevee's tail.

"But we have to fiiiiiind heeeeeeeeeeeer!" His girly voice rose up in a false whimper, his eyes widening in a swell of glittering tears as he drew his paws to his soft maw. "She can't always be late, right?!" He didn't even notice his friend running into a fellow apprentice.

(Sorry for dipping off like that, I passed out on the couch. And my activeness might be questionable. It took 45 minutes just this morning to start my troll computer up.)

Shade sighed as the Cubchoo grazed him, scooting over a bit. He wished Tavern would show up already.

Ninetales' eyes darted to Toruka, seeming to bore into his skull. Her gaze softened after a moment and a smile spread across her face. "Good to see you here," She greeted.

Toruka and Chiroro both looked up at the Guildmaster, their eyes wide. As Chiroro's paw was still shoved up in his mouth, the timid Cubchoo quickly slapped the brunette paw down before returning his frost white paws to his chest.

"As well to you too, Guildmaster ma'am." He sniffled a bit, his dribbled bouncing as he tried to make it appear less 'out there'. However, he knew full well that a health Cubchoo had a gooier snot drip and he should be proud to show how health his was. Just so Ninetails wouldn't get suspicious if he had the sickness.

Without warning, Chiroro hobbled over to the larger Fire type Pokemon and flung his stubby arm around her, clutching the Guildmaster. "HIIIIIIII GUILDMAAAAAASTEEEEEER! Have you seen Yui?" It was the same thing every day- Hug the guildmaster, then ask for their leader. And on certain days, he'd even ask if the Guild had received its supply of honey, or not.

"I'm here, I'm here. Don't get your tails in a twist." Stalking in was a small Skitty wearing a cloak that mimicked a Spinda's pelt and her tail in a literal spiraled twist. Twitching her big ears, she continued forward and mused,"You boys know I like to arrive fashionably late. And hey hey Ninetails, ma'am! What's new?"

"Hello, Chiroro," Ninetales said, fidgeting awkwardly. "Um...Back to why I've called you here today. Tavern has reported stramge Pokemon near the Rolling Plains area. They are multiple shades of black and dark purple with glowing red eyes. They are feral and will attack fiercely. Little is known on the subject, but you should keep away and try not to let them bite you." She was lying. Her and Swubat knew almost everything there was to know about the strange diseased Pokemon. She drew in a deep breath, eyes closing for a moment.

(I'm sorry if replies are really slow; my computer shuts itself down every 5-10 minutes.)

Toruka blink and shuddered. "D-d-d-d-diseased?! Oh dear!!" He shook as if he were freezing, his dribbled jittering and bouncing in fear.

"Oh stop your whining, Toruka! We can handle anything! After all, we are about to be senior apprentices! We're not babies, right Chiroro!?!" Yui gave a rough, but playful growl, she tiny teeth bared.

Chiroro released the Ninetails and looked at Yui with a stupidly blank look before yelping,"Yeah! And that means we'll get extra honey, right?!"

"And chestnuts! You got it!" The pink cat's bright expression dimmed as a dark breeze rushed through the room, darkening the light and sending chills down the spine of whoever stood nearby before stopping in front of the Criminal bulletin board.

"There is no need to panic. After further analysis, a team of the top apprentices from our guild and the guilds from the surrounding areas will be sent out to eradicate the threat," Ninetales mewed, easily looking calm and collected despite the panic that was suffocating her. She already knew that a few guilds had been overrun, the Pokemon either turning feral or being killed. They didn't have much time for further analysis.

Toruka struggled to keep his focus on Ninetails, but the dark chill that startled him seemed to pull his attention away. "W-wa-waaah? What was that?!"

Even the head-strong leader of Team Kuma had shuddered before scowling, her flowery tail bristled. "I could ask the same thing! Who was THAT?!" She blinked and hissed as a group of Ghost types appeared in the corner, horsing around and making startling faces.

"Kekekekekek!!"

"Chawahahaha!!"

"Kuhuhuhuh!"

"Gahahahahahah!!"

"Uhhggg! Its them! Team Bane. They think they're so cool because they've already graduated and have become treasure hunters." Yui snorted, being a normal type made it clear she disliked them.

(I just realized that all my people are normal types XD)

Desire rolled her eyes at them. She was a great explorer, but without many team members, she was barely able to get through the toughest of dungeons. Ninetales kept postponing her test for snapping at other apprentices, too. "What are you doing here?" She asked, letting a slight growl escape her.

Kira, who had arrived right behind the spinda-like Skitty, sighed. She could almost here Lindsey saying something retarded.

(*hear XD Just decided to be a bitch )

A Haunter rolled his eyes at Desire and continued to fuddle through more Wanted fliers while a Duskull hovered over to the Meowth. "We are still allowed on the premises. We are Ninetails Guild-trained explorers after all." Despite being the most against Normal types of the Ghost team, Skora, but once known as Skully, was the easiest to get along with. "Also, we are here to help train you younger members in battle."

(Damn. Ugh, I don't feel like typing an argument >.>)

Desire growled. She didn't feel like dealing with stuck-up graduates. "You wouldn't know how to train a single one of us. The only way you made it through the graduation test was being immune to the kick-ass normal types." Her bitchy side was getting the better of her. "That's all I have to say for now." With that the Meowth was silent, turning back to pay attention to Ninetales.

Ninetales dipped her head towards the four cackling near the boards. She wasn't particularly fond with them, but they had no arguments. "Team Bane is welcome in our Guild, remember that." She was glaring at Desire. However amusing she found the fiesty apprentice, she had to uphold the rights of the graduates.
