Mysterious Letter- RP

Aaron followed, and Raiguard followed him, seeing his trainer leave.

Rayla climbed onto Kitty's back, the lithe dragon walking on all fours, the fans on her tail a bit tattered, but healing.

Sacha found a shaded spot near the centre on the edge of town and sat down under a tree. Titan rested his head on her lap. She ran her fingers through her hair and waited for the others to join her.

Aaron sat down, under the shade, and glanced at Sacha.

Raigaurd stood, under the sun, looking down at the others.

Once Kitty caught up, she curled up on the ground, Rayla leaping off and sitting next to Kitty, her back leaning on Kitty's hip.

"Ok here it goes.... When I was 15 I travelled to Hoenn to take on the league. But... I didn't get very far.." She took a deep breath. "A few weeks into my journey I got corner by some people calling them selves 'team aqua'. It.. it didn't go very well and it ended with me losing my starter Pokemon, Tana. Since then I've been pretty hard to get to know, I don't keep friends for long.... In fact you two are the only people I've spent much time with after leaving my cousins in Sinnoh." She explained.

Rayla put her hand on Sacha's shoulder, feeling sorry for the poor girl. "I'm soo sorry."

Aaron sat silent, his arms crossed, as he stared at the ground. "Yeah....I'm sorry too..." he said lamely. He looked angry though, the set of his jaw, his fists were clenched, and his eyes were aglow.

Rayla glanced back at Aaron, wondering why he seemed so...angry. Then she thought back at the Luxury Ball he had. Could the ball be from a pokemon of his that died? Or is he just angry that the fact that Team Aqua killed Tana? Perhaps-

Her thoughts were cut off as a small blast of light cracked out from her bag and Sierra appeared, crumbs caking his face as she pulled himself out of the bag. "Ax! Axew Axew!!" he cried out with giddy pleasure as he reached his stubby arm back into the bag and pulled out a cracker, popping it into his mouth.

Rayla sighed, scooping him up in her arms, cradling the small dragon type as she thought about the future. Should I take Sacha's advice and soften by training tactics....If I did, would Sierra end up like Gabric? Or should I continue to train like I did with Draco, Blizzard, and Buzzer. Would look down to me if I quit?

"There is no need to be sorry. You didn't order the Hyperbeam that killed her... in fact it was meant for me.... but she stepped in front of it. After that... I don't remeber much. I do remeber Barrow evolving... his Ever Stone had been broken during the fight. I heard afterwards the thugs were so traumatized they practically begged to be put in jail." A smirk pulled up one corner of her lips. "Served them right."

Sacha reached over and gave Sierra a scratch behind his tusks. "Have I told you about Barrow? He's the first pokemon I ever EV trainer. Effort Values, your pokemon gets better at certain things when trained against certain pokemon." She said fishing in her bag for something. She ended up pulling out a photo book and quickly flipping to one of the pages. She placed it on the ground.

It was a picture of Barrow of course, arms crossed and head looking casually to the left as on the other side his foot rested on the head of a angry looking Riolu who seemed to be trying to use Force Palm on the massive Flygon. "The Riolu is Anubis, I got his egg from Riley on Iron Island."

Rayla nodded, smiling at how much Barrow reminded her of Buzzer; the father of Kitty who always thought thoroughly before acting. She then glanced down at the small pocket in her bag, where she kept her Pokegear. "Yeah." she questioned whether to show any of her pictures, but she decided against it. Besides, she thought. This is Sacha's flashback moment. She stroked Sierra's back, the small Axew laying on his belly, an odd purring rumble coming from his throat.

Aaron glanced over at the pic, and smiled softly. But it was the kind of smile that didn't reach a person's eyes. Though he was amused by the antics of the pokemon, well, he had other things on his mind.

Sacha flicked through the book, occasionally showing off a picture or two. Various Pokemon, places across the world. Most of them were set against the mountainous back drop of northern Johto. She stopped at one of them, hand hovering over the page. "That's... my older sister." She said.

Eva-May was older by about seven years, shorter with darker hair. But her eyes were the same pale, intelligent blue. If anything Rayla should recognise her, the bane of dragon trainers. Going against tradition and training mostly ice types, she wasn't exactly 'welcome' at the extended family reunions in Blackthorn City.

Sacha loved her sister, but they had a difficult relationship.

Rayla's gaze flinted across the page, a small wisp of fieriness shown in her eyes. "I've seen that girl before. She was younger.....My brother still lived with us. My dad had battled her a few months before the accident. He used Kye, his Kingdra." She broke off, remembering siting outside in the small village. The soft breeze carried through from the Ice Path that sat left of Blackthorn. She had been smaller than all the other children, her stubby knees pressed up against her young cheeks as she clutched her legs in awe at the pokemon that battled before her. Her small pink dress fluttered a bit from the powerful attacks and the excited tugs from the small blue bird with cloud-like wings. Blizzard! Stop and watch Daddy!!.....That's what I had said...... Rayla's now mature eyes had dimmed and she grinned at Sacha weakly and replied,"Yep. That was a while back...."

Sacha scratched at the back of her head. "She would of used Nemean, her luxray." Sacha thought out loud, closing the book just short of the photos of her father. "She has a mean Thunder and great accuracy. Don't tell me how it went." She added at the end with a wave of her hand, she'd rather ask Eva herself. She shifted her position, feeling uncomfortable. "So yeah... This is the first time I took on a proper league since Hoenn." She said, her hand moved back to rest on Titan's head.

Rayla nodded, her mind fogged up by her own past memories. Shuttering at the thought of a Thunder attack, feeling queasy as she remembered her own brother's attacks on her. His Dragonite's signature move had been the powerful electric type move since he never had the ability to learn Draco Meteor...and, it was his Thunder that killed the offspring of her first breeding, the son of Blizzard and Draco. Tears welled up in her eyes, and as she quickly wiped them up, she replied,"Again, lovely pictures. Normally, I'd share some of my own, but my most recent one of me and my family was from before my father died and I left in search for my brother."

Aaron stared down at the dirt, silently listening. He lazily played with the blades of grass. Tearing some from the ground, and just twirling his finger around another. It was a subconscious movement. Aaron felt strange sitting there, as the two girls tole tales of their pokemon. He suddenly felt inexperienced and meager. He had no such tales to tell. The little tales he had was about his battles with Team Rocket. But even then, nothing had happened to his pokemon.

Sacha shook her head. "Don't, it's fine. I just think I needed to talk about it... It's been so long." She said. Her fathers gone too, another thing we have in common. She thought. She pulled her hair out of her ponytail and pushed her goggles up onto her head, classic Sacha's not gonna sit around any more movements. "We've still go plenty of sun. If either of you need anything you should get it quick, already wasted the morning in a frankly disappointing battle." She finished adjusting her goggles and stood up, brushing the grass of her cargo's.

Several kilometres away, two Team Plasma grunts where being punished for being complete idiots.

Out in the forest a tall black cloaked woman was reading a book, and frowning at what she saw.

"Colm, I don't want to hear another peep from you about staying in the Pokeball. I hate it as much as you do, but IT'S YOUR FAULT!" Muire was annoyed with the Blitzle, and had been for the past day or so. Obviously, he hadn't said anything about being in the Pokeball, but it was obvious that he hated it.

"Colm, you pull something like that again and I will PERSONALLY make sure you get put in the tiniest, most cramped up Pokeball in history." Growled Third Degree to the black and white Pokemon.

Colm said nothing in reply, just simply rolled his eyes.

Muire shook her head. "Ugh. Let's just get a move on." She walked back towards the group, followed by Third Degree, but Colm had been replaced in his Pokeball. "Sorry, guys." She grumbled, rubbing her eyes. She hadn't slept because of the worry that Colm was going to get them into even more trouble. "What were we doing again?"

Rayla nodded, standing up and stretching her back by pushing her palms into it, a sharp series of pops following. Her aqua green eyes darted around and she snapped her fingers, Kitty reacting to the sound with a loud rumble as she stood up from where she had dozed off.

"I'm going to head out and grab an OJ real quick. And some new batteries for Kitty's amulet, my spares have lost their spark." She began walking off, Kitty walking on all fours by her side.

Aaron stood up as well, which made the Charizard lying next to him stand up as well. "I'm gonna go for a fly, helps me clear my head. I'll meet you guys somewhere on the road." he quickly babbled as he went to Charizard's side. The dragon-like pokemon crouched down and allowed Aaron to swiftly climb onto his back. Aaron sat in the small dip on Raiguard's back where his long neck and back met.

Aaron patted the side of Raiguard's neck twice and whispered "Let's go buddy." Raiguard let out a small half-growl half-roar. Then the charizard backed up several steps away from Sacha and turned almost 90 degrees, he ran a few yards forward, as his wings spread, in a few strong flaps the charizard was well into the air.

Sacha stood at the Striaton route 3 exit, looking worriedly at the storm clouds gathered over there. "I hope it's not a thunder storm, I really don't want to get my jacket wet." She mumbled, pulling the red material tighter around her when a gust of wind blew down the road.... it looked like it was snowing out there.... in early autumn.

"Again! Do it again!"

The strained, raspy voice was quickly followed by a harsh wispy sound of whooshing air and rumbling earth. A semi-short girl stood outlined against the rising moon as she watched the energy from sky get drawn into her massive sized partner before an explosion of light erupt from the maw of the giant lizard. The yellow beam seemed to shatter the dark sky with crackles of light, quickly evaporating into nothingness.

"No! No!! NO!!! That's Solarbeam, DAMMIT!!!! I asked you to do Draco Meteor! Do it right this time!" The pair had been training since the wee hours of the morning, and it was now nearly ten at night, the Flygon exhausted and the trainer's senses dulled. "Damn! Absorb the galaxy's energy and release it in meteors! Infuse your dragon soul with the universe's energy and then ignite it!" Her glazed over eyes seemed to shine with a certain harshness, but it was rather more of a pushy confidence that shown bright through the night of the waxing moon. "I'll be damned if you grow up to shame my name and teachings without knowing at least a simple Draco Meteor! My father's ghost would kill me! Now get to work!!"

"Errk! Its not as easy as it looks ya know! I can only seem to harness the sun's energy from the sky, not the galaxy's! Who do you think I am, Arceus?! Damn yourself!" hissed the awkwardly high pitched, shrill voice of Kitty, her oddly curled antennas lower than their usual prickliness as she panted. She wanted to collapse and whine about how hopeless it was to continue trying, and that only a legendary god could learn the technique. But she was wrong and she knew it. He knew that not just her Master's two geniuses of dragons knew the attack, but all of her entire party knew it, with an exception of Stonesong. His body wasn't adaptable to the attack type no matter how much Rayla and he worked at it. However, that was made up for with his insane Giga Impact. As for the rest of the team knowing Draco Meteor, it only meant that even she could learn it as well, but it only made her feel worse about her efforts. However, what happened next was not what she expected to hear.

"Ehhh let's just give up for tonight. We have to get up early for tomorrow to meet back up with Sacha and Aaron and I don't you lagging behind when we start training with the littler ones. No gather yourself up and let's head back."

Kitty watched through the red transparent goggle-membrane of her eye guards as the crimson haired girl started walking off, bringing her small, seeming pale hands up to the back of her head as he pulled out her highly tied ponytail, the long straight scarlet tresses falling down with a graceness that couldn't be replicated easily, the color looking like blood, a dark yet glossy sheen reflecting the moon's light as she left. By the time the Flygon caught up with the trainer, the young woman was dabbing her forehead with a damn, black rag that had been tied around her forehead; it had obviously put somewhat of a strain on her Rayla to be out there all day, yelling and bouncing around in the strong sun without any food and only a bit of water. "She went without food, just as I did. And water too. I don't lots of water since my body is built for dry place, but you Master......Aren't humans made up of mostly water? Surely it isn't healthy not to drink water everyday, right? Errrrrrmm....."

(Sorry that I transferred Rayla back to this RP. I though it was about time it was done....There may still be some side action with Abel and Kat until they meet up later in da main RP, but for now, they'll be laying low )

(yeah you're right, Sacha has gifts for her friends when they meet back up.)

Sacha sat on the bed in the room she has been given back at the Pokecenter. After the whole mess at route 3 the had decided to return to Striaton. The brunette had gone shopping while her red-headed friend had gone out to train. She ran a comb through her wet hair and stared out the window. She sighed and dropped the comb. She missed sinnoh, her cousin and the adventures they had had. But she shook her head and chuckled ruefully, she really had to stop getting lost in the past. Unova was a interesting place, if a little cold and she was sure to make new memories with the friends she had made off the boat... And as for adventures, it looked like she was already in the middle one. She reached down and stroked Titan's head. "Night boy." She murmered and curled up into the sheets.

Titan rumbled then jumped onto the end of the bed.

Rayla flopped down in her rented room, splayed out against the soft bed as the round capsule in which Kitty slept rolled out of her hand across the made, plush surface. Her soft greenish aqua eyes rolled across the ceiling, studying every little crevice and hill and crater that laced its surface, and with a sigh, she pressed one hand against her cheek and sat up, wiping away the sweat and grime layered upon her skin.

After setting out Sierra and Bellatrix's pokeballs out on the bed beside Kitty's, Rayla disappeared into the bathroom and turned the dial on the sink, clear water running from the faucet into her cupped, dirty hands. Pulling them up to her face, she splashed her face with the cold liquid, her skin beginning to tingle with a cleansing sensation. Continuing till her face and arms were dripping clean with water droplets, she turned off the faucet and began to dry herself with a nearby hand towel before changing into a long pair of bed pants and a black tee with a white part of a pokeball design at the bottom right half, with her long hair pulled out of its ponytail and hanging down in flat form. Climbing into the comforts of the covers, she pressed the side of her face into the soft feather pillow, drawing up the comforter to cover her upper torso, her nose poking from the edge of the blanket.
