Mysterious Letter- RP

The lillipup was devastated with a part of a beam. And it barely had time to cry out before the damage took effect and it fainted. "Tch." Chilli said as the pokemon returned to his Pokeball. His hand wandered to his belt, where hsi other Pokemon rested inside of a Pokeball. "I-I Forfeit." he said.

Rayla's gave a startled stare and jaw drop. "You what?! Forfeit?! I don't know the meaning of those words." she spat, a bit confused. "Errrk does that mean I get my badge?! Errr Kitty! Down!" The injured Flygon hurtled down, landing clumsily onto the ground and stumbled from the loss of energy.

(Sacha agree's with Chili 100%. She was probably having panic attack when she heard the move.)

Chilli narrowed his eyes, he reached into his pocket and took out the badge. "Take it and go." he spat, throwing the badge at her.

Rayla nimbly caught the badge between her fingers and Kitty snarled at Chili. The two marched out of the room, Rayla stopping at the table where Aaron and Sacha sat, wearing a bitter face.

Aaron looked up "What's wrong?" he asked, seeing the expression Rayla's face.

"Chili flaked out. Tossed me the badge after his first pokemon fainted. No class what so ever." She grunted, pulling up a chair from another table and sitting with her companions, Kitty laying down weakly by her trainer's feet.

Aaron raised his eyebrows as he stood up. "That easy?" he asked.

Sacha was picking at her sandwich, not looking up at Rayla, she could guess what happened. She could have told her this gym was mostly used to test new trainers but she didn't. "I would have too if my low level pokemon was on the receiving end of a Hyperbeam. The move can be dangerous if your not prepared to face it." She said offhandedly.

"He totally flicked out and forfeited! I mean seriously?! He's a gymleader-" She felt fired up, but then she began breathing slowly, calming herself down.

Aaron seemed surprised, "Damn." he said. he started to walk towards the back of the Gym, then turned back, with a grin. "Wish me luck."

Rayla grinned,"Good luck! Knock em dead-" She then paused. "No, not really!"

"The first gym from the town where starters are given out, and they practically the same age as me and Aaron. Taking into account the age at which trainers start in Unova, they've probably only been in the game for... three years. The gyms family owned, that's why they are leaders." She said. "Their strategies are based around testing new trainers."

"Good Luck Aaron!" She called as he walked away, he probably wouldn't need it. Unless Cress took into mind his brothers challengers and brought out his better team.

Aaron grinned, "Thanks." he said, walking into the battle area of the Gym. "Damn." he muttered, seeing the destroyed floor.

Rayla gently sipped at her now cold tea, the lemon scent strong and watered down.

Sacha rummaged around in her bag before pulling out a Full Restore. "Heal your Pokemon." She said, pushing it towards Rayla. Her tone was no nonsense 'do it now' look. She looked as though her was ready to give Rayla a piece of her mind. Titan was sniffing at Kitty's wounded tail. "Sorry about that." He grumbled. "I didn't fancy falling out of the sky."

(I believe Mew is.)

Sacha rummaged around in her bag before pulling out a Full Restore. "Heal your Pokemon." She said, pushing it towards Rayla. Her tone was no nonsense 'do it now' look. She looked as though her was ready to give Rayla a piece of her mind. Titan was sniffing at Kitty's wounded tail. "Sorry about that." He grumbled. "I didn't fancy falling out of the sky."

Kitty giggled and replied,"Nah its fine! It actually doesn't hurt much anymore." She then nuzzled Titian's cheek and mused,"Thanks for the training."

Rayla shook her head and replied,"Keep it, I have my own." She then pulled out a max potion and sprayed it on Kittyy, the Flygon not even flinching.


Cress looked up from where he was speaking with his brother's, his long blue bangs covered most of his face, shadoing his expression. "So, your next. Very well."

"Yeah." Aaron said, warily.

Cress nodded, tossing out his level 12 Lillipup. "Alright. Lillipup, use Work Up!" He stuck his hands in his apron pockets.

Sacha sighed and put the potion away. "I don't really know how to be friends with you. One moment your perfectly fine company, the next your some cold hearted task master." Sacha said, not meaning to be rude but her blunt honesty was in full swing. "I have nothing against pushing your pokemon, I do it myself. But there is a difference between hard training and borderline torture. Letting Kitty bleed like that is unethical. If I was any other person I would have reported you to the authorities." The older girl said, running her finger through her hair.

"Sacha doesn't appreciate your 'masters' methods" Titan said, looking over to Sacha, who was looking very serious for a change.

Aaron nodded, and sent out Raiguard, he knew he wouldn't be able to use Raiguard for the water type Cress was rumored to have. So he decided to use Raiguard for the lillipup.

Raiguard erupted out of his Pokeball with a roar. "Slash." his master called, he looked down at the little dog pokemon and snorted, he raised one hand and brought it down, his claws sharp.
