Thornpaw's Day Off

Thornpaw flicked his tail as exchanged 'good-bye's' with Mercury. He nodded as he padded after Copper. His tail lashed behind him, he glanced back to make sure Ivypaw was following.

Ivypaw followed the pair, preparing for a silent trip.

Ice watched them leave with disappointment clearly showing in his eyes and drooping tail. "I didn't get all of my questions answered," he sighed to himself.

"You will have to come here only twice a moon now Thornpaw. Mercury will have to start taking on more duties, so will I so we wont be here to make sure you stay safe. And Steel doesn't like you so he would not lead you around." Copper meowed as they walked through the alleys, well strolled was more like it. Copper seemed perfectly at ease, it was a good sign considering this had been contested territory not long ago.

Thornpaw frowned, disappointed. "I'm starting to learn my way around the Alley's. You wouldn't have to lead me around, besides I could help you guys out." Thornpaw didn't want to come to the Alley's only twice every moon. He liked the Alley's.

Copper twitched her ear. "Though this part of the alleys is safely in the Resistance paws we can't let you wander freely. You're stranger to this land, unless you have a good reason to be here you have to stay away. I'm sure if you give Mercury a little while she'll convince father to let you come more often again. Just trust us, ok?" She meowed.
(don't worry he'll have a reason soon enough, it's part of the bomb Mercury's about to drop in the other rp.)

"Could I come when Thornpaw does?", Ivypaw asked. Her tail swaying, eagerly.

Thornpaw sighed reluctantly and dropped his head. "Fine." Then he glared at Ivypaw "I'd rather you stayed with he clan from now on."

"Yes it is bad enough having one clan cat around, two and the cats in this area will think your planning a raid!" Copper sighed. "The curse of living in war."

Thornpaw turned forward to face Copper "I must have heard you wrong. You said it was bad enough having one clan cat around?" he asked, a challenging, but playful, tone in his voice..

A cat quietly padded through the shadows, watching the others. She looked a bit like Pandora, but had a completely different scent as she circled the area.

"Aw...", Ivypaw put her head down.

"You come strutting in here, like you own the place. That's clan cat arrogance if I ever saw it!" She meowed, her tone was teasing though, she didn't really mean it. Copper just liked pissing other cats off, though by now Thornpaw knew her game, but he was willing to play.

"It's called swag. It's cus i know there's nothing to be scared of in the Alley's." Thornpa said flashing a grin, revealing sharp white incisors. "My own reflection is scarier then this place. "

"That's just because you've only seen the very edges of the place! The horrors I've heard described.." Copper's teasing tone died in her throat and her eyes grew dark, probably remembering her brother's death... and that kit, dear ancestors when they had found it like that....

Thornpaw yawned "My dreams are scarier then the depths of this place."

Ivypaw shot Thornpaw a look that said, Stop it, she's not playing anymore.

Copper ignored his comment when they reached the brick wall. "Here you are, may good fortune rule over you." She meowed waving her tail.

Thornpaw nodded "And may the force be with you you as well." he said, dipping his head. He quickly touched noses with her before padding towards the woods.

Copper nodded and padded back into the alleys.

(still have to do something with Smolderstar, Jewelpaw and Hawkpaw. Now Ivypaw and Thornpaw's part is over...)

"I smell cats." Smolderstar growled. "Jewelpaw, stay behind me." He padded forward carefully, eyes scanning the area with precise... ness.

(precision... Whats happening? Riker?)

Hawkpaw glared at his leader. He stood next to Jewelpaw as Smolderstar slunk forward.

Smolderstar took another step forward and was startled at what he saw.

"AH, HOLY SHIT!" Screamed a beautiful she-cat. "YOU SCARED THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF ME! Hey, are you friends of those Resistance cats from earlier?" Her terror was soon replaced by curiousity.

"Resistance? What the hell are you talking about?" Smolderstar's whiskers twitched in annoyance.

"The what?" Hawkpaw meowed, he was annoyed just as much as Smolderstar was.

"YO RI-" A loud voice shouted, then stopped once the cat speaking noticed Smolderstar and the others. "I mean... YO, PANDORA, WHAT'S GOING ON OVER THERE?"

"Jeez, Ryan, burst my ear drum, why don't you?" Pandora laughed, then looked back at the others.
