The Alleys RP

"I had to get Copper to drag her off when we first brought you in. I thought her fur would start falling out." He narrowed his eyes as he went through his stores. "Damn that Trinity she's being giving out strengthening herbs again. I swear that girl is too nice for her own good."

Thornheart chuckled softly, as he pulled over his leftover mouse. His hunger had returned to him, and he started digging into the rodent.

Day's came and went, Kass eventually found time to go out an gather more herbs with his fellow Shaman's and had Instructed Thornheart to walk around a bit and tell him how he felt when he returned.

Mercury sat on an old kitchen bench and watched the tabby from her perch.

Thornheart had an irritated scowl on his face as he limped along, back and forth. He wanted to run, he wanted to chase down the murderer of his family, and slay him. Yet, he was stuck here, making careful movements, lest his wound reopen. Unknowingly his claws unsheathed and dug into the ground,a s he paused to carefully stretch his back.

"You really should try to relax, Trinity say's it makes for faster healing." Mercury meowed. She was faintly amused at the look on his face, even though she sensed that finding that lieutenant meant allot to him. She had yet to weed the information as too why it meant so much to him yet.

Thornheart glared at her, though he wasn't mad at her. Just mad at his own situation. His helpless situation. "I don't want to relax. I can't relax." he growled.

Mercury sighed and jumped back to the ground. "Lay down!" She meowed putting on her best authoritative tone and pointing at his nest. "You look like you haven't slept properly in days."

"Who can rest with a hole in their heart." Thornheart muttered, but reluctantly limped over to the nest, he lied down, gathering his legs underneath him, only taking up a portion of the large mossy nest. Half, to be exact.

Mercury padded over to him and lied down on the other half of the nest. "And now we groom your matted fur." She stated before licking the fur behind his ears. "If you let it get much worse Kass would of cleaned it himself." She meowed with a chuckle.

Thornheart couldn't help but smile, his head bobbing under Mercury's tongue. "Thanks." he said, grudgingly.

"It's nothing." She replied and she tugged her teeth through a clump of fur on his neck.

Thonrheart went silent, grateful. Although he could groom himself, he kept forgetting and he couldn't crane his neck, for fear of the wound reopening to clean certain parts of his pelt.

She ran her tongue down his back, smoothing the fur in place. When she got to the area of the wound she slowed her strokes. "He got you pretty badly." She meowed softly as she groomed the fur around the edges, it was definatly going to scar.

(I've got to get ready for going out, bbi 30+ minutes?)

Thornheart grunted. "And I'll get him worse."

(Just goes to show how when I choose to be make myself look nice it takes nearly an hour)

"This Lieutenant, you seem very set on hunting him down.... is there a reason?" She asked while she groomed his flanks.

Thornheart was silent for a few moments a she examined his claws. Then he told her what happened. (not typing it out too long. I think you know the story right? ))

(I'll be leaving soon, seeing movie with sister.)

Mercury pressed her muzzle into his fur. "I had no idea." She murmured. "If you want... I'll help you track him down." She offered.

Thornheart shook his head, "Thanks, but No thanks. He's mine."

Mercury sighed. "Well if that's what you want." She meowed.

Thornheart nodded. "It's just....something I have to do on my own."

Kass sniffed at the new scar on Thornheart's neck.(?) "Well it's as healed as it's going to get." He meowed gruffly. "I've no choice but to kick your tail to the curb. You're constant moving around is annoying the other patients." Kass got up and walked back to his store. He came back with a wad of herbs. "Eat these, they'll give you some extra energy and help sooth your throat."

Mercury's head appeared around the door. "Is he ready to go?" She asked.

(( crosses from corner of neck, then across his chest to the bottom of his opposite shoulder. So a diagonal line ))

Thornheart practically leaped with joy, but resisted and bowed his head to Kass. "Thanks." he said, before leaning down to pick up the herbs and chew them. It left a bitter taste in his mouth, but he had almost grown used to it over the last week.

He glanced up at Mercury as he was chewing and nodded eagerly. He swallowed down the herbs and bounded over to her. "Finally."

"Good. I'll take you to where they last spotted Scar and then I'll go.... I still wish you'd let me come with you." She meowed softly. She sat by the door and waited for him to come over.
