The Alleys RP

Thornheart's eyes narrowed, suspiciously. How did this cat know his name? It reminded him of Equestria. "Who-?" he asked, as the cat started to walk. "-are you?"

"That does not matter.." Her voice drifted back to him and she seemed to simply disappear, no scent, no sight, she was just gone

Thornheart, did not pursue her. Whether it was out of laziness, or caution, or even disinterest could not be said. In fact, it seemed as if it drifted out of his mind.

The tom walked on, in a daze. At a point, he stopped and again looked down into a pond. His eyes settled on the reflection of himself, before his eyes closed. He heard something, ring through his ears, yet he did not open his eyes. It was the sound of something breaking. Thornheart opened his eyes and started walking again. It was the sound of a link being broken. His paws, dipped in the puddles of water, then came back out, wet. A metal link. Wet, just like his entire body, his fur. A link part of many, a link part of a series. And his pelt grew wetter still, as the water fell, droplets falling onto him, and dripping off of his wet fur. A link that was part of a chain. And as the water cascaded down his body, he paused, and looked up at the sky. A chain: now broken. The clouds were gray in the sky, and yet as he stared, a gap started to form. A gap, which through, sunlight came.

(( A post full of metaphors and symbolism and shit..And a bit difficult to read, but simple to interpret. ))

And so, the tom walked on. His eyes gazing at the things ahead of him. Soon his walk, turned into a jog, and then into a run. Before he knew it, the young tom was sprinting forward, towards....towards...Well, he thinks you know.

Thornheart arrived at resistance headquarters. "Viva la resistance." he said with a dip of his head, to a guard. He rushed inside. A few minutes later....

Thornheart approached Mercury, he was behind her.

( I'm entering story-telling mode now, unless someone conducts a raid on Riker's HQ, I won't really be talking to you. )

"Ma'am, may I speak freely?" A small black and white tom cat sat straight, chin raised as he addressed the she-cat in front of him.

"Always, Nip." She replied, dipping her head. The tom let out a sight of relief and relaxed a bit.

"I believe you made a mistake..." He mumbled, looking down at his paws. "In sending that Pumpkin cat away. He was very loyal but would probably crack under pressure... if the forest clans hear about us..."

"Calm yourself. I trusted him, and he will not betray us. Frostclan knows not of our existance, at least not yet. We must be on our toes for the Resistance and the Rogue Queen's forces, but..." The she-cat trailed off, her blue eyes wandering into a cat on the other side of the large house that was pushing light boxes. "Do not mind it. But I wish to speak with you about something in private."

The tom nodded and followed her as she stood and padded out through the window, and once they were outside, she turned on him.

Her claws flashed forward, glinting brilliantly in the light, and ripped his throat out, the element of surprise on her side. Leaning in, she whispered in his ears as he breathed his last: "Sorry, Nip. You knew too much."

Riker's motives were obvious. Nip had known Scuaise's original name, that she had sent him back to Frostclan, and he probably even knew part of the plan. Couldn't have that leaking to the Resistance or the Queen, now could we?

Covering her scent in the garbage of a nearby dumpster, she leapt back in through the window, leaving the cat's body to rot in the street, adding more scent coverage to her headquarters.
