This is my first one, ever. I wrote it between 11:30 and 1:00. Not really creepy, but unsettling.

I was playing Soulsilver, seemed like a normal game. My Typhlosion, Flameback, was walking behind me, looking really cute. My party seemed normal, with my shiny Gyarados, Redscale, was there followed by all my other normal Pokémon, Owlface the Noctowl, Lightningstrike the Raichu, Fairy the Togetic, and Hidden Beauty the Ninetails. They all looked ready to battle, which made me smile a little.
Before you ask why Redscale, Lightningstrike, Owlface, and Flameback have weird names, it’s because I’m a HUGE Warrior Cats fan.
This seemed like the perfect day to retake on the Elite Four. It was the biggest mistake ever.
I flew to the Elite four, a spring in my step as I got ready with super potions, antidotes, full heals, and any other healing medicine I could afford with my loads of cash. I even grabbed a few irons, calcium, and other stat-improving stuff from the Pokémon I had randomly put them on. I walked through the doors, and saw the first of the elite four people. I beat her easily, Flameback sustaining only a little damage (in my standards). I used a quick super potion on him, and he regained his entire HP. I stopped for a second to glance at his sprite. To me it seemed just a little different, his tone seemed to be darker, his flames duller. I shrugged it off, thinking it was nothing, and headed off to the next person.
This time, I decided to use Redscale against the guy. Water gun, there goes the first Pokémon, water gun a few more times, there goes another, etc. Redscale finished him off, and I used another super potion on him. Again, I could have sworn Redscale’s usually shining scales became a dimmer red color. Again, I ignored it.
Before progressing, I used an iron on one of my weaker Pokémon, Owlface. His stats went up, like they usually would. Out of curiosity, I looked at Owlface’s stats. Again, the sprite seemed duller in color, and Owlface was staring at the ground. By then I knew something was up, but I kept going. Third person. Bruno always gave me trouble. I sent out Owlface first, to weaken his Pokémon a little bit before I brought out Flameback’s fiery attacks. He used peck, Super-effective, but Owlface was kind of weak, and the Hitmontop sustained little damage. He kept using random flying moves, and a couple stat moves on the Hitmontop, until the Hitmontop’s attack was brought down drastically, and its health bar was three-fourths down. Then Owlface fainted. I sent out Flameback, who smoked the Hitmontop with a flamethrower. He continued to rip through those fighting-types like there was no tomorrow. Finally, the battle was over, and Flameback’s health was almost completely depleted. I went into my bag, and brought out my super potions, and used 2 or 3 on him. His health was full again. I looked at his sprite, out of curiosity. My eyes flew open in shock. Flameback was keeled over, and his facial area was a sickly shade of green. His flames were almost completely out, and dull as ever. His fur was dirty and ruffled, and he had bags under his eyes. He looked horribly sick. I couldn’t leave the elite four building until I beat them, so I kept on. The fourth person was straight ahead. I quickly put Redscale in the first slot of my party, moving Flameback to the last slot. I walked up to the Dark trainer. We went into battle as usual, but Redscale still seemed a little dulled out. I used a move or two, and the Umbreon fainted. Redscale fainted in mid-battle against her third Pokémon, murkrow. Odd, attacks seemed to do more damage on him, and I could have sworn his health bar was at least 10 points higher. I shrugged that off, too. Hidden Beauty was out next. I used ember on the half-dead murkrow, and it fainted. I smiled for the first time since my Pokémon started looking weird, because Hidden Beauty was fine. She kept slicing through the Pokémon, using only two or three attacks each. When she finished the battle, most of her PP was gone, and her HP was low, too. I used two super potions and restored her PP. I fearfully took a look at her sprite, and gulped. Her tail was on the ground, and her fur was matted, and dirty, losing its usual shiny gloss. Her head was about 5 inches away from the ground, and a sickly green substance started leaking from her half-opened maw. Mixed with the vomit, blood trickled from her mouth. Then I noticed something else: She was terribly scrawny. Her legs were more of twigs than ever, her eyes looked sunken into her skull, and her ribs showed plainly through her dirty yellow fur. A Ninetail’s cry could be heard, but was low-pitched and drawn out, and at the end you could hear a coughing, wheezing, and hacking sound. I exited out of the screen, the image burned into my brain. I didn’t want to, but I went into the next room.
I used a max-revive on Redscale, and his scales seemed to lose their glimmer even more. His head drooped a little, but he seemed to be in battling condition. I entered the battle with Lance, the dragon-type trainer. I used dragon rage on the opposing Gyarados. After a few hits, it fainted. I blew through the other Pokémon. After that, it did what it would usually do, saying you beat the elite four, blah, blah, blah. It saved my game, and then started showing the credits.
After the credits, I appeared back in my house, everything seeming perfectly normal. I looked at my party. I went to Flameback’s summary. Now, his flames were out, his fur dirty and matted, and he was splayed out on the ground in a puddle of red and green liquid. His eyes were closed, and his mouth slightly ajar. I gasped, looking at the dead-looking form of my Pokémon. Instead of doing a little pose, it just showed Flameback’s scarily shallow breathing. I shook my head, not wanting to look at Hidden Beauty. I walked downstairs, and my mom walked up to me. “Did you use any of the berries I sent you?” she asked, and I frowned. She usually didn’t say anything about berries. I selected ‘NO’, because I hadn’t used any of those crappy berries. “You should have used my berries! GET OUT!” The text box displayed my mother saying. I wore a puzzled look as my mom shoved me out of my house.
When I got outside, Prof. Elm walked up to me. “Oh no….” he said. Immediately a Pidgeot came out of nowhere and swooped us both up, carrying us to Lavender Town. The Lavender town music played, but it slowly got deeper and slower, until finally it was one slow, deep note being dragged out endlessly. It brought me to my party screen, and to Hidden Beauty’s summary. Her cry was distorted, painful, and a low pitch, as if it pained her to say anything. She looked even skinnier, if that was possible. Her fur had even started falling out. “YOU ABUSED HIDDEN BEAUTY!” A text screen popped up. I pressed A, a little scared of what it would say. “YOU USED DRUGS, WHEN YOU HAVE PERFECTLY GOOD BERRIES THAT ARE GOOD FOR YOUR POKEMON!” It said. It went back to Lavender Town. I was forced to walk to the tower of dead Pokémon with Prof. Elm. Prof. Oak was waiting for us there. A gravestone appeared in front of where I was standing. “Here lies HIDDEN BEAUTY. She died of DRUG ABUSE from her trainer SYLVIA” it read. I gasped in shock. I quickly looked at Flameback, and he was no better. Patches of his fur were now on the ground, and he was still splayed in a puddle of vomit. I almost aged at the site. In his status it said: DEAD! WAITING BURIAL! I closed out his stats page, almost hyperventilating. A turned around to leave and another gravestone popped up before me. “Here lies FLAMEBACK. He died of DRUG ABUSE from his trainer SYLVIA” it read, and I almost burst out crying. Flameback, my first and most loved Pokémon, had been killed by ME! My character seemed to be crying on the gravestones. Finally Prof. Elm ushered the character out of the Pokémon Tower, and the Pidgeot swooped down for us again. We were brought back in Goldenrod city, and I hurried to the Pokémon center. I thought of all the Pokémon I had used drugs on that weren’t dead, Owlface and Redscales. The other two Pokémon were fine. I walked up to nurse joy. “Would you like to heal your Pokémon?” she asked. “YES” I replied, mashing the buttons frantically. “I’m sorry but I can only heal 2 of your Pokémon, please wait a minute.” Two pokeballs appeared on the healing thing. She gave me my Pokémon back. “I have an option for REDSCALES and OWLFACE. Before they die, you can put them in REHAB.” The nurse said. I selected “YES” and looked at Redscales status. His status condition said “RECOVERING” and his sprite seemed not as dull anymore. The same thing happened with Owlface. I sighed in relief, but was also nervous. Why did the game do this?
I didn’t pick it up for weeks, but finally one rainy day I did. I switched on the game and went to my profile, “SYLVIA” I looked at my party. Redscales and “Owlface were messes, just like Hidden Beauty and Flameback. A message came up: “OWLFACE and REDSCALES have failed rehab. They are too addicted, and must die!” it said. I almost cried. Again, Prof. Elm came, we went to Lavender town, and the music did the same scary thing. The gravestones cropped up in the tower, just the same. It said the same exact thing. Then, suddenly the screen cut to black. “YOU THINKG IT’S FUN, DON’T YOU?” I little dialogue box read. I got scared. “What you call ‘potions’ Pokémon call ‘crack’ what you call ‘iron or calcium’ we call ‘steroids’ You abuse your Pokémon every day!” The words weren’t only on the screen, but a deep voice was saying them. I threw my DS halfway across the room, and it dropped to the floor. The voice still emitted from it “YOU THINK IT’S FUNNY TO WATCH US SUFFER?!” The DS yelled. I recognized the voice…it sounded the same tone of a Typhlosions’s cry. I slowly picked up the DS. On the screen a shape began to form out of what looked like mist. The shape was….a Typhlosion. It was MY Typhlosion. Flameback, my beloved Flameback, was a slowly pixelating ghost. He looked angry, like he wamted to murder something. I dropped the DS on the floor again, and it shut off. Hesitantly I turned it on, and it brought me straight to pokemon Soulsilver. Instead of the regular starting screen, with the legendary beast on it, it showed a scrawny, sick-looking Typhlosion kneeling on the ground. I pressed A. The screen turned black again. A slow, deep voice was chnating "Feel our pain....feel our pain.......feel our pain" I immediatly shut the DS off. I haven't played Soulsilver to this day, and I never will. I have nightmares about Flamback, and Hidden Beauty almost every night. I'm thinking I'm starting to look like them, sunken eyes, dirty, matted hair, hair falling out, and a dull complexion. I was losing wieght at an alarming rate, becuase I couldn't find the will to eat anything. Were they trying to suck me in? Was this just my imagination? I didn't know, and I never found out.

It seemed like a regular day, wondering through some tall grass on Pokémon Ruby. I was randomly walking around, and I ran into an Absol. Personally, I love Absols, and their mysteriousness. But this one was just odd. When it came up, its cry was a jumbled mixture of strangled sounds. The Absol was crimson-red with murky, poison-looking coloring on its horn, and a copper face. For some reason, mid-battle the absol threw its head up and howled to the sky. I had no idea what was going on. Was it shiny? No…..
My Blaziken had been sent out, and I was ready to take down the odd absol. I kind of wanted to catch it, so I used peck. Almost half the Absol’s health was depleted, because Blaziken was a very high level. The Absol got ready to attack. It used an odd move for an Absol, curse, after it howled. And it worked like it would for a ghost type. Another portion of the Absol’s health was depleted, and it was almost fainted. Blaziken was then cursed. Since the Absol was so weak, I threw out an Ultra Ball. It ticked once, twice, then three times, and the Pokémon was caught. It gave me the option the name it, so I named him Soul, knowing that his full name was really Soul Thrown into the Blackest Pits of Hell, a name of an Absol gijinka in one of my favorite RPs. I smiled at the red Absol, and kept him in my party. He knew curse, perish song, taunt, and a move called ‘crimson claws’ The Absol was a weird thing. It got the first spot in my party, a spot usually filled by my Blaziken.
I started randomly running into Pokémon with my new Absol, after I went to the ocean and started surfing. I picked off a few fish Pokémon with curse, and perish song. I returned to land, and went back to the spot where I found Soul. I ran into another Absol, but it was regular. Soul was thrown out, and I almost pressed ‘curse’ I decided against it. Instead I clicked on ‘crimson claws’ The Absol sprite moved a little, and an animation much like slash flashes across the other Absol, except it was crimson red with some red liquid dripping from the claws marks. They disappeared, and the other Absol lost health. Then the screen turned black. I flipped out, mashing random buttons. The screen flashed back to normal, but the opposing Absol had a dead look in its wide eyes. Three huge gashes were scratched into its side, blood trickling down and stained its white fur. The Absol fell onto its side, a look of horror on its now-bloody face. I gasped in shock, as the battle scene ended. A dialogue box popped up. “You obtained ABSOL MEAT! Do you want to feed Soul?” It read. I clicked ‘NO’ and it said “But Soul is hungry! Feed him!”
I started to freak out. It gave me a yes or no option again. I clicked ‘YES’ Then it said, “Soul ate the ABSOL MEAT! Soul got stronger!” I kept walking on. I looked at my Poketracker thing, and someone on the beginner routes wanted a rematch. I flew over there; it was the lady beside that bridge wanted to battle. I talked to her, and the battle started. The first Pokémon in my party, Soul, was sent out. I clicked on ‘curse’ and a box popped up. “SOUL doesn’t want to use CURSE! SOUL used Crimson Claws!” I was seriously scared now. The same thing happened that had happened to the absol. The trainer’s Pokémon fell onto its side with three huge gashes etched into it flank. Crimson blood started pooling around the poor Pokémon. She had two more Pokémon. The same thing happened with both; they both fell with gashes in them, and blood everywhere. Then the trainer sprite appeared, but instead of saying “______ gave Sylvia ______ dollars!” It said: “Soul still wants to fight! Fight with Soul!” The only option was for Soul to use Crimson Claws; all the other moves were magically out of PP. I clicked on Crimson Claws. Three wide gashes appeared on the trainer, and the color drained from her surprised face. Blood stained her light green dress. I watched in horror as the trainer’s sprite fell on the ground. A message popped up. “Trainer died! You obtained HUMAN FLESH! Would you like to feed Soul the Human Flesh?” The only option was ‘Yes’ it wouldn’t let me choose ‘No’ I fed the flesh to Soul. “Soul got stronger!” the message said. I did what anybody would do. I flew to the nearest town, rushed into the Pokémon center, and turned on the PC. I tried to put Soul in a box, but the message read, “Soul doesn’t want to! He wants more food!” By now I’ve metaphorically shit my pants. I exited the Pc, and tried to move Soul to a different spot in my party, and to my relief it worked! I moved Soul to the last spot and returned Blaziken to the first slot. I sighed with relief, and decided to go outside, stick an EXP share on some weak Pokémon, and kill stuff with my Blaziken. I flew to Victory Road, and started walking all over the cave floor. Finally I ran into a Whismur. To my horror the Absol was sent out instead of my Blaziken. It wouldn’t let me send out any other Pokémon or run. The only option was for me to use Crimson Claws. I gulped as the move killed the little Whismur. “You obtained Pokémon Flesh” The game said, and I heard an evil-sounding cackle emit from the speakers. I flung my DS across the room and it hit the wall with a loud thud. The sound still came from it, getting louder and creepier every second. I slowly picked up the DS. The screen had completely cut to black, with the red absol in the middle of it. His claws were blood-stained and an evil grin was on his copper face. “Food?” The evil voice sounded from my DS. “NO! NO! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” I screamed, but nobody was at my house so nobody heard me except for the demented Absol. “Wrong? Nothing’s wrong,” The absol stated, his voice a scary calm. “THEN WHY DO YOU EAT PEOPLE!?” I screeched, not even feeling stupid for yelling at a DS with tears streaming down my face. “People are tasty. So are Pokémon. Nothing is wrong with that,” Soul said, with a slight growl. His sprite crouched down like he was about to pounce. “YES, THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THAT! YOU ARE FUCKING CRAZY!!!” I screamed, now sobbing. I stared at the screen as bloodlust shown in the Absol’s insane eyes. I heard something in the bushes outside my windows, and jumped about 10 feet in the air. I slowly walked over to them, and peered outside. Nothing was out there. I sighed with relief, and then felt a searing pain in my back as my flesh was torn open. I whirled around with blood flowing onto the floor. The last thing I saw was a streak of red, copper, and crimson claws meeting my face.

Yes, yes. But the scary part of the story is that an evil Absol transferred from a pixelized world into the real world for revenge on the non-believers~
