FrostClan: A Dark Tomorrow

Rogueheart dropped to his belly and slithered away, he turned and lashed out with a back paw, aiming for the cats ribs. From how close he was standing he could see the strange shapes on the cats head, avoid those.

(Yeah, his horns can be a bit visible from that close, though most of the time, his thick, but short black fur seems to hide them )

As the cat's paw hit his rib cage, Malicepaw only shuttered on his legs by the sheer force moving him, his bones still quite intact as he tried to charge at Rogueheart, his head lowered and aimed at the tom;s face, though his claws were stuck out farther, as if he'd rather the blunt tips land on him rather than to injure him with his headbutt.

Rogueheart weaved to the side, slashing his claws down Malicepaw's side. "Who taught you to fight, a goat? You'll never do any damage that way, you're far to slow." He taunted, baring his teeth.

"Hm, so speed is your advantage? That means defense is your weak suit." He spun around and swung his heavy tipped tail into Rogueheart, feeling a crunch as it hit the lower left side of the warrior's face, close to his jaw, Malicepaw still gritting his teeth in pain at the searing slashes down his side. He'd get over them, they could stop him from keeping his friend safe and secure.

Rogueheart stumbled back, he worked his jaw feeling one of his back teeth wobble. He spat a glob off blood on the ground and turned back to face him, baring his fangs. He took a step back raised his head and yowled.

Harrierstar stopped in his tracks. "A trespasser has been spotted. Ashenrose, continue the search with Shadowcore, Owlpaw with me." He growled. Turning quickly he raised his tail and ran deeper into the forest, following the sound all FrostClan warrior's where taught to go too.

Rogueheart smirk and padded around. "You wont be going anywhere." He growled and darted forward, sinking his teeth into one of the cats back legs then leaping clear of the crushing tail. He circled Malicepaw, making it clear he'd block any exit. After all Rogueheart knew this forest better.

(Somehow, he's gonna have to get away. )

Relicheart's head pivoted nearly 180 degrees, hearing the sound of the alarm. Quickly whipping his head around to face Hellspire, he hissed,"You, Quartzpaw. stay with Veiledmist and continue to search. I shall go with Hellpaw to assist the others. Got that?!" Without waiting for a reply, the two crimson ans black tom took off, leaving the icy she-cat standing, wearing a look of annoyed confusion.

Malicepaw felt a tooth caught in his leg and leaned over to pull it out. But as he did so, he lurched forward and yanked his lowered head upward, Malicepaw smacking Rogueheart clearly beneath his chin and lower neck with the small rises on his hard skull, as if to knock him unconscious.

Rogueheart stumbled back and slumped to the ground. He growled and slowly got back to his paws. "Your holding back." He said, voice slurred slightly as he had bit his tongue. He jerked forward and growled. He could hear the paws of large warriors coming forward. He shook his head, trying to clear his dizzy head.

(Wow. Epic...Dammit, why can't I be here when everyone else is?)

Featherpaw had followed Enigmapaw, not because she wanted to follow orders, but because she wanted to know what was going on. She ran after the shy she-cat lightly, making no effort to not be seen. "Enigmapaw?" She yowled loudly, paws pounding against the ground. "Enigmapaw, what is going on here?"

"Don't follow me!" Enigmapaw screeched, surging forward to find a point where she could vanish into the trees. "I can't risk it!" She darted up a tree, then began throwing herself from branch to branch until she disappeared from sight all together. "Don't follow me. Please don't follow me." She said, her voice still audible, even though she had vanished.

Malicepaw walked over slowly and moved his face toward Roguepaw's own, his eyes soft and forgiving as he spoke. "Please forgive me if that bothers you, but I do not wish to kill when it isn't needed. I'd rather not filthy my paws with the sin of murder anymore than I already have." Malicepaw took a scent of the air and began running after Enigmapaw, his heavy paws thundering against the ground as he disappeared into the forest. He hoped that this would be the last time he'd ever have to come back to this territory. But he couldn't help but feel sorry for Rogueheart. I may have only known him as Roguekit for a little while, but I feel its better that he thinks he's from the proud Frostclan instead of being shamed by being born in Flameclan. I know I'm quite forgiving, but even I am shameful of my heritage.

Hellspire and Relicheart arrived, rushing over to Rogueheart with nervous eyes.

"Did a warrior attack you?"

"You look pretty banged up."

"Your face, is it hurt?"

"Ehhh it looks just as messed up as ever- Oww! Hey, what was that for Relicheart?!"

"I'll stop, but just know, I'm completely trusting you right now!" Featherpaw yowled, changing directions to run back towards Rogueheart. She caught up to the patrol, panting. "I couldn't catch her...Disappeared into the trees...Too fast..." She mewed, out of breathe.

Before Malicepaw had run of Rogueheart had spat at him and swiped at his face. Rogueheart shook his head when his Clan mates appeared -Harrierstar and Owlpaw just behind the others- to clear the ringing from his ears. "He dndth say hith name, buth he wath big enough." He slurred, spitting another glob of blood thanks to his bitten tongue. He slumped forward onto the ground again, too dizzy to move.

"No WAY am I letting you run away from me Enigmapaw." Sleetpaw screeched, launching herself back into the tree. She followed the claw marks, leaving Shadderpaw and Featherpaw far behind. "You get BACK here this instant and tell me what's going on!"

(She has stubbornness issues.)

Shadderpaw couldn't help but glance Featherpaw's way, hesitant to leave her behind and chase after Sleetpaw, the cats who had been partnered up with him for the mission.

Relicheart sniffed the air, but the other cat's scent seemed to be swirled up in a raging mess with blood, and the scents of their other clanmates. A look of confusion on his face, the large tom murmured, half asking himself,"What was Enigmapaw doing out here?"

"Shadderpaw, don't chase her. Trust me here. Something's going on," She mewed, clawing a leaf into oblivion. She picked a thorn out of her tail.

(WB. Confusion.)

Sleetpaw eventually lost track of Enigmapaw. "Damnit, I just wanted to know if you where ok." She murmured. She carefully made her way back to the forest and padded back to the group. "Oh StarClan, is he ok?" She asked, looking at Rogueheart, who looked unconscious.
"I would be if you shut up, my heads killing me." He grumbled, eyes flicking open again.

(Murmered, not murdered! Feeling like a grammar nazi today! And I have nothing to post at the moment...So..I"M JUST SPAMMING TO LET Y'ALL KNOW I'M HERE!)

Shadderpaw was a bit surprised when Sleetpaw had back the opposite way, and he followed her back to the rest of the cats. He blinked his eyes silently, even more surprised at how banged up Rogueheart was. The area smelled of blood, Enigmapaw, and some other scent. However, dismissing it, he couldn't help but wonder. Could....Could Enigmapaw have done this?! He was then joggled back to reality when Relicheart spoke up.

"Right right, let's get him back to camp. After he's rested, he can tell us his account of everything."

(( How can I jump in?))

(Hmm, we'll get them back to camp... oh wait. Deltapaw and Lavapaw was a part of the search... they can meet up with Relicheart and then all go back to camp)

(( Cool. What exactly were they searching for? ))

Lavapaw padded around in circles in front of the large oak tree, his nose to the ground as he sniffed, searching for any scent or sign of what he was looking for. He rose his head up with a sigh, nothing here. Grudgingly, the young tom flicked his striped-crimson tail and headed deeper into the forest to continue his quest.

Deltapaw flinched every time Lavapaw stepped closer to her during his circling, too nervous to search for the lost kits as her partner was a tom.

Relicheart sighed and leaned over to help Rogueheart walk. "I won't carry you, I'm sure your sense of dignity would not want to be tarnished, correct?" Turning his head, he faced Hellspire, Mitepaw, and Feather and meowed, "You three, go and find Vieledmist, Quartzprickle, Deltapaw, and Lavapaw. Hurry and meet us back at camp."

(Missing kits, they didn't find them.)

"Good call Relicheart." Harrierstar meowed. "I will escort the others back to camp." He nudged Rogueheart with his foot. "Up you get."

Rogueheart stumbled to his feet.

( Woah. Intense. )

Lavapaw's gaze flickered to Deltapaw at her insistent flinching. "Calm down, will ya'?" he said with a tilted ear. "I'm sure the kits will be fine, when we find them." he added, in a rickety attempt at a comforting tone. He thought her flinching was caused by her worry for the kits. "Now come on, we need to keep looking!" he added, turning away and bounding ahead, inhaling deeply through his nose.

Harrierstar shared a quick nod with Relicheart then turned and led the way back to camp, he sent the other inside and resolved to wait by the entrance for the other patrols.

Rogueheart quickly made his way to the medicine cat's den, flopping down onto one of the nests when the headache became to much, he jaw was swollen and a small trickle of blood ran down from where his tooth and been knocked out.

(Kits from all clas except FrostClan went missing. Turns out they made their own clan to escape from the violence, Enigmapaw joined them. Harrierstar either wants to return them to their clans or chase them off the territory.)
