Shadderscream winced and chocked out,"We were walking over to mark the border when we saw Onyxpebble showing his apprentice, Oakenpaw, and her brother, Koipaw, how to mark their own borders. However, as they did that, the fourth cat on their patrol was marking too close to our territory and Hellspire just lashed out at them. H-he didn't mean to actually attack them- only startle them off. B-but the cat- he saw at the last moment and lurched backwards, under Hellspire. Then there was blood and fur everywhere and Onyxpebble ran at me. I only got a scratch on him before he followed after the fleeing apprentice. But the last cat.....the one who fought Hellspire.....he-"

"Thank you, Shadderscream," Vieledmist mewed solemnly, turning to Hellspire. "From what I just heard, I can assume the cat was crushed beneath you, correct?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. His voice would've shaken, but he remembered the words of a wise warrior the day he was made deputy. Your voice, it quivers. Don't show your fear at such a time.

Hellspire gave a slight groan and bellowed,"But, you don't understand. It wasn't just any warrior.....it was Lunarstar."

(Sorry for the short post- just wanted to make it somewhat dramatic....It didn't work out the way I wanted )

Vieledmist almost dropped straight to the ground, a look of pure shock and horror spreading from his nose to his tail-tip. "This is going to be bad," He murmured, almost to himself, staring at the ground. He raised his voice and meowed, "Was it his/her last life?)

(I don't know Lunarstar's gender. Pft.

"Veiledmist is right- thing is going to be bad, even though Lunarstar still has a couple of lives left. Three now, I believe." Walking up was the massive tom, his olive eyes glowing calmly, yet slightly tinged with worry, his thick black mane appearing quite feathered and dark compared to his bright russet body. "I feel that Lunarstar won't retaliate, but his clan is sure to go running to Mossclan. If only that poor tom had a bit more confidence. Then he'd have more lives to live."

From out of the shadows nearby, a figure moves. His blue eyes track the others as he pads forward, almost in a regal form. But that was always how he seemed to pace as he approached the warriors. He sat down a bit distanced from them, wrapping his black striped tail around his paws and listening.

Malicehaze glanced over, seeing Blueshard, and twitched his thick-boned tail, motioning for the tom to come over and join their conversation. He wondered why Blueshard seemed so distant to the clan when he had joined even before he had, and yet, he was more active among the clan.

Blueshard padded closer at Malicehaze's discretion. He was curious what was going on, but judging by the worried look in the faces of the cats, he knew it wasn't good. He noticed wounds on some of the cats, but he didn't ask what had happened.

"Starclan help us," Vieledmist murmered, padding away with his head high but his tail drooping. He contemplated wether to report to Harrierstar.

(Tis no wounds they bear XD)

Relicheart dipped his head as he remained beside the warriors. "If such dangers are upon us, I think we should send a few extra cats, warriors perhaps, to help watch over the hunter apprentices. Quartzprickle and Earthshatter can't handle protecting them all alone, especially if a patrol attacks them since they weren't trained to fight. I for one am going. Harrierstar can hear about the fight later." The thick cat took off running, followed by Malicehaze.

Shadderscream watched as they left, feeling compelled to go too. But he soon met gazes with Hellspire, who only shook his head.

"No Shadderscream, we've already done enough for now. Just go and relax- I'm sure your nerves are being eaten at."

"Follow him, Rogueheart," Vieledmist called to Rogueheart. He waved his tail towards Relicheart to make sure Rogueheart knew where he was going. "He'll fill you in."

(You do realize that Rogueheart is RPed by Rose, right?)

(Yeah.
But I didn't want to send Malice or Shadow...So, I figured Rose would be on eventually to RP Rogueheart...I could send someone else, though.)

(Malice already took off after Relic to go help Quartz...)

"Blueshard," Vieledmist meowed, pointing his tail at the warrior, "follow Relicheart." He waved his tail towards where Relicheart had gone.

Deltapaw was running, her eyes ablaze and heart pounding as she ran with her two mice and a shrew locked in her jaws. Hurry hurry hurry!! She felt its breath burning down the back of her neck, causing her spine to tingle. No no no no no no! Suddenly, sharp fangs caught the tip of her tail, clucking some fur from it and out of fear, she spun around and sent her claw flying into one of its eyes, allowing her time to run a few foxlengths away.

It then lurched forward after her, its bushy tail lashing...

The blue tom nodded. He quickly got to his paws, following the order silently as he began his following of Relicheart. Though he wasn't exactly sure what was going on, he just figured do as he was told.

Enigmaheart shot a sideways glance at Ripsnarl to make sure that his attention was elsewhere. Lifting her bleeding leg to her mouth she gave it a few swift licks to clean it off.

"Ey, Enigmaheart." Called Croi, bounding to where she sat. "Ya alright 'ere? Looks like yer bleedin', what happened?" He casually kicked a rock out from behind him and sat down, oblivious to Enigmaheart's nervous face.

"Nothing." She said, too quickly. "I just... rolled over... onto a rock. Yeah." She muttered, lowering her head as Ripsnarl turned his attention to her.

Croi paused for a moment, then shook his head. "Alrighty then. I'll be talkin' to ya later." He trotted away unsurely.
