Rust curled up to her. "Let it out....all your pain and saddness.......just cry and if i must i will cry with you."

Honeykit watch Riverpaw and Rust from through the bramble walls. So Pheasantpaw spoke to them too?! No wonder I couldn't see him. It was like the first time I saw him! He crept out of the den and crawled over to Riverpaw. "So...Pheasantpaw spoke to you too finally?"

"Y-yes" Riverpaw choked and began to sob loudly into Rust's fur.

Honeykit dipped his head. "I remember...when I had.....I was the one who had to tell him that he was dead...." The golden kit began to sob to. "I had t-to tell my cousin that he w-was dead!!"

Rust began to lick Riverpaw's ears. Then he pulled Honeykit to him and Rverpaw when he started to sob about his cousin.

Riverpaw yowled painfully. All the grief of Pheasantpaw's death washed over her again and she almost wished that her claws hadn't snagged on that branch, and that Thornpaw hadn't rescued her from that tree.

Rust picked up Riverpaw and brought her to her den then he brought Honeykit to the same den and lied down next to both of them.

Riverpaw felt utterly defeated. She jjust wanted to curl up and got to Starclan so she could be with Pheasantpaw. She then longed to stay alive to be with Rust. Why? Why did Pheasantpaw have to die? Why must I be so conflicted? She thought. She finally fell asleep and began to dream. *hint hint*

( I think I'm going to make Equestria use her motherly instinct to listen to cats problems and give them advice )
Equestria rested on a old oaken branch that was glazed with frost and ice. Her delicate paws were wrapped around the branch as it swayed softly in the winter's chilly breeze.

A starry figure began walking up to Riverpaw, its fur made up of stars.

I hate to see her like this.....good thing she's sleeping..she really needed to., Rust thought.

"Who are you?" Riverpaw asked looking at the starry cat.

The cat let loose a sweet laugh. "Oh Riverpaw! There's no need to bristle. This is a safe place. I'm sure you've heard my name a few times before. My name is Oceanfeather." Her pelt turned to a rich blueish grey color with silver paws, belly, muzzle, and tip of the tail. Her eyes were a soft, creamy blue. She looked behind her as another familial warrior trotted up. "Sup Riverpaw!" It was Soulthunder.

"I heard Petalmist talk about you, Oceanfeather and my mommy said that Soulthunder died not long before I was born" Riverpaw mewed

Soulthunder grumbled. Only parts could be understood. "Mommy.......hate........insanity......death berries.." Oceanfeather rolled her eyes and swatted Soulthunder with her tail. "Enough of that! Too much is bad for you." Soulthunder chuckled and meowed,"Coming from the one who was alway told that about voles!" Oceanfeather ignored her friend and meowed to Riverpaw. "So, I'm sure you have questions that only Starclan could answer?"

"Yes, I do" Riverpaw mewed.

Soulthunder smiled and muttered,"Then fire away!" The two blue she-cats listened to Riverpaw, their ears pricked up.

"I don't know if it's right to love Rust. I feel like I'm betraying Pheasantpaw" Riverpaw mewed.

Oceanfeather dipped her head and Soulthunder meowed,"Well, he is dead and you are alive. It is true that not even Starclan knew Pheasantpaw was going to die and we were even more shocked by who was responsible....His death wasn't planned, but it wasn't an accident. They wanted him dead....He was too close to figuring out......" Soulthunder was struggling to speak, but she was beginning to fade. Both Oceanfeather and Soulthunder wore shocked looks and they tried to scream out, but darkness was over coming them. "Too close........finding out........Tigerclaw's death........ACCCCKKKK!!!" They were gone and only darkness remained.

"I must know who killed him! He said there was a traitor in the clan!" Riverpaw yowled as she was envoloped by darkness.

Rust saw that Riverpaw looked restless in her sleep.

Riverpaw struggled in her sleep. The darkness overcame her and she had the sensation of falling. It felt like she was falling into a deep abyss. She let out a blood curturling yowl.

Something was wrong. Rust shook Riverpaw awake.

"No! Help me! Oceanfeather, Soulthunder!" Riverpaw yowled upon awakening.

A husky voice filled the darkness, but no cat was seen. "The one who is responsible for Pheasantpaw's death also is responsible for both Tigerclaw and Darkstar's deaths as well..." The voice disappeared and the dream had ended. Pheasantpaw's killer was also Darkstar's......

"Rust I have to tell Smolderstar!" Riverpaw yowled.
