The Alleys RP

"When that forest cat gets back from his foray with Mercury.." Kass started
"FORAY?" Raven yowled
"Oh cool your claws, she's taking him to the boat house" He sighed. "Ask him about Rose, he was sure to know her." He finished
Raven nodded. "I will be sure to ask him"




((Foray: Make or go on a foray: "the place into which they were forbidden to foray".
There are two meanings so I thought I'd make it clear.))

Scuaise blinked, already memorizing the prophecy. What could this mean? He thought silently, padding towards the Alleys to clear his mind.

Kass turned and walked away. He lifted his nose to the air, he thought he had caught a scent. He shook his head. "Bee's in your brain old boy." He mumbled to himself.

Aiden and Jade quietly departed with the other cats in Riker's forces. "Hmph. I hate waiting," Aiden hissed.
Jade sighed. "I know, I know. But we have to." She lightly nudged her brother's broad shoulder as they walked.
"Whatever," Aiden meowed grumpily.

Kass continued to walk, while he was out he may as well search for herbs. He knew a green-house to the north that was in good condition and he needed more tansy.

Rosethorn had chosen the entrance without the brick wall, it was a simple straight path into the alley and the scent of the resistance was all over it. Rosethorn always thought Resistance cats smelt faintly of wild mint, the Rangers tended to chew it straight she remembered, as had the shaman Kass.

Thunder silently and quickly followed his mother. His bright golden eyes glinted with curiosity as he examined their surroundings.

Trinity smelled something different in the air. She had an amazing sense of smell, catching the faintest of scents. I should check it out.....

Coalkit took in his surroundings just as closely as his mother and brother. His eyes cool blue to Thunder's bright gold. Rosethorn was carefully moving forward.

Kaida looked around, and her pale eyes focused on Trinity. She walked over to the shaman and spoke in a quiet voice. "Is something wrong?" The shaman seemed to be one of the few cats, along with the other rangers, who were frightened or nervous because of her appearance.

Thunder noticed his mother's caution, but didn't say anything about it. He simply just kept looking around curiously.

The russet she-cat stopped at a cross road, racking her memory for which way she was to go. "What do you think Thunder, which way should we go?" She asked.

Thunder blinked in puzzlement. "Why ask me? I've never been here before." Even as he said it, he trotted a few steps forward to see if he could pick the right one out. "What about this one?" he wondered, angling his ears toward the right.

"Raven always used to say, 'follow the mint.' You have smelt mint before little ones." She purred

Trinity glanced at Kaida. "Nothing is wrong." the wise Shaman lied. "Thank you for your concern though."

Thunder nodded and sniffed. The scent of mint was definitely stronger down one of the paths. "This one, right?"

Kaida sighed. "Why lie to me?"

Trinity pulled Kaida aside. "There are strange scents of forest cats around. And 'they' told me these cats were important......Come with me to check it out. I smell where they are." she whispered.

(Trinity lies, allot.

Rosethorn nodded. "Right you are my sweet, remember that scent, it is the scent of the Resistance." She meowed. "Come, let us go." Rosethorn went back into the lead, keeping her kits close with her tail.

"Let's go, then," Kaida meowed. "I'd like to see who these strange cats might be."

Thunder nodded and padded alongside his mother. This place is so different from the forest. But it's not a bad different, at least to me.

Coal walked on his mothers other side, curiously sniffing as he went. When he glanced at Honeykit he was practically right under their mothers paws. "This place is allot bigger then our territory." Coal didn't know it for sure, but he felt it.
Rosethorn spared Coal a glance, "Yes it is much larger then FrostClan." She meowed.

Trinity padded out of the HQ, and hoping Kaida was following, began to speed walk towards the scent. She stopped when she saw a she-cat, and what appeared to be her 3 kits.

"How far does the Resistance's territory expand?" Thunder wondered.

Kaida followed a tail-length behind. When she saw the four cats, she meowed softly, "Are these those strange cats?"

"It would of changed since the last time I was here, what with the Rogue-Queen expanding her forces and the loss of territory to the northwest. Along time ago the Resistance held two thirds of the Alleys, it is probably less then that now, but the Alley's spread far." She meowed sadly

Trinity simply nodded. "You seem familer......what is your name?" she asked, talking to Rosethorn.

Thunder's head jerked over to the two she-cats. They had the smell of mint, so they must be Resistance cats, but his dark brown fur still bristled slightly.

Kaida's pale, unnerving gaze swept over the group, finally stopping on Rosethorn. "Rose... Is that you?"

Rosethorn swept her kits back with her tail. "I am sorry, you know my name, but I do not know yours." The she-cat meowed. Even though they were Resistance cats she still acted cautiously.

"Kaida of the Claw," the black she-cat responded.

Thunder winced a little when she looked at him. Her eyes are kind of weird... Are they supposed to look like that? The scar across her chest, he didn't mind as much. Many of the cats he'd seen had scars. But none had eyes like that.
