Trinity smiled. "I am Trinity, Shaman of the Resistance." She looked at the kits. "Why hello, young ones. What are your names?" The cross marking on her head stood out on her young-looking face.

"Mi nombre es Coal" the tom said, Rosethorn smiled at him, she didn't mind that he didn't use the second part of the introduction, it didn't look like they were going to ask.
"Your name is familiar." She meowed meeting Kaida's gaze evenly.

Trinity smiled. "Me sorprende que un equipo de su edad habla español tan bien." (I'm surprized that a kit of your age speaks such good Spanish.)

Glancing at his brother for a moment, Thunder meowed, "Mi nombre es Thunder." It took him a moment to translate Trinity's next words, but he didn't reply to that.

Kaida smiled slightly. "I'm not surprised it does. What I am surprised about, though, is that you didn't recognize me. Then again, you were younger when I last saw you."

"That would be her," Kaida answered for the shaman. "So, what was it that happened to bring you here? From what I've heard, the forest is often preferred to the alleys..."

Thunder kept silent, wondering what her mother would tell this Resistance cat who was, apparently, family.

Thornpaw grunted as the furry head hit his chin. He had managed to back up a bit, before Steel hit and was on his hind leg's when the head came thudding into his chin. Winded, Thornpaw reeled back, sucking in a breath.

Dust saw the exchange, and him and his quarry paused in their spar, to watch the battle between the foreign cat and Steel.

Steel turned around and kicked out with his hind paws, intending to knock Thornpaw to the ground.

Mercury gritted her teeth when Thornpaw took the headbutt to the chin.

Rosethorn thought for a moment. "Frostclan is... not what it used to be." She meowed carefully.

Trinity's ears perked up when she heard Rosethorn say, Frostclan. "Do you happen to know a cat named Thornpaw?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"So I was right to think he'd been coming here." The she-cat meowed. She had a thoughtful look on her face.

"Thornpaw is a curious young tom." Trinity mewed. "So would you like me to direct you to HQ?"

Kaida nodded. "He visits the Resistance. I myself have never spoken to him, though. I've just heard and seen him around," she told Rosethorn.

Thunder glanced up at his mother. What's Thornpaw been doing in the alleys? he wondered.

"Yes, I do not want to be out in the cold any longer." She glanced at her kits. "It would be a shame to get sick so close to spring."
Coal watched his mother, he glanced to the other two she-cats.

With a glance at Trinity, Kaida meowed, "Follow us, then." With a flick of her black tail, she turned and started trotting towards HQ.

Thunder waited for his mother to follow before going another pawstep. These cats were unfamilar, and he didn't really trust them.

Rosethorn nudged Thunder forward. "Do not tarry, even this territory is not safe." She meowed. Coal padded close to his mothers side. Rosethorn had had to carry Honeykit for now.

Thunder reluctantly followed. So, out of one group of cats and right into another. He sighed silently. But how does mother know this won't turn out just like Frostclan?

Trinity began to walk to HQ. She turned to Thunder and Coal. "Quam operor vos amo Alleys?(How do you like the Alleys?) Opps, sorry. I speak Latin better than my original laguage, English." she mewed. "So, how do you like the Alleys so far? Strange place it is."

Coal glanced at his brother, he hated it when Thunder got that thoughtful look on his face. "So how far away is this place?" Coal asked
"Far enough" Rosethorn replied simply.
That's no answer. The young tom thought. His mother was always like this he realised, she never gave you a straight answer, unless you earned it.
