Cold Blades of Truth (A Percy Jackson RP)

This is the Percy Jackson RP. Percy Jackson and all his mortal friends are a thing of the past now, but camp Half-blood is still up and going! An icy cold villian has descended upon the gods, something that they cannot defeat alone! You must help them, go on quests, and figure out the cold truth of what this being is!

2. OOC is allowed, but don't go crazy. You must RP at least 1 GOOD sentence to OOC.
3.The limit is three, because I can't fit a bajillion people into one quest.

(And now it starts!)

All the campers were called for dinner. They scrambled towards the large tables, finding their own places. The bonfire roared with a healthy orange glow, and food appeared on the campers plates. They all scraped portions off their plates to sacrifice to the gods.

Sheba sat quietly at the end of the Minor god Phobos' table. She ginger picked at her pizza, pulling an olive off and popping it into her slightly drawn mouth. She sighed as she stood up to scrape off the rest of her untouched meal. She had only drank a few sips of her iced tea, leaving it to become watered down in the cupfull of ice.

Jaxal sat, munching down on his crust, laughing and exclaiming joyfully, surrounded by many other demigods from the Dionysus cabin. He had been made the cabin leader only a year ago, but he had won their trust quickly and easily due to his bountiful loot, including candy, a flat screen tv, and a couple new playstation 3s.

Kamea smiled. "C'mon, Priscilla!! It's time to eat!!" she called.

"Aww yeah!! Finally." Priscilla said, running over to the tables, hair flowing behind her. She scooped some mashed potatoes into the fire. She sat down, and began gnawing on a turkey leg.

(I haven't read the books.... Oh that's what I can get for Christmas!)

Katniss munched on pepperoni pizza happily, gulping down Diet Coke. She sat beside Muire.

A dull thud sounded, then again, and again. The sound of repeated hammer blows on heated metal. A familiar sound to Shuda. A sound he enjoyed. His right hand was clenched around the leather handle of a short hammer. His left grasping tongs, in the metal jaws of the tongs was a glowing sword. The metal glowed pink-red as the hammer came down on it. Under the sword was a lit bed of coals. Tongues of flames rose up from it, gently licking at the blade of the sword.
Shuda was alone in the forge, all the others were at dinner. He was quite hungry, but didn't notice, too absorbed in his work. The light of the fire from he forge dimly lit his strong features. The determined set of his jaw, and the everlasting scowl on his face. His left hand turned, and he flipped the sword over, re-positioning the tongs, he brought his hammer down again and again, flattening the blade.
Sweat beaded down his forehead, but he seemed not to mind as he rose his hammer up one last time. Then he brought it down again, softly. In a swift motion, he dropped the tongs, and with a clatter they fell on the floor. He picked the hot flaming sword out of the flames and dropped it into a barrel filled to the brim with water. It dropped in, and sizzled, steam quickly rose up as the sword cooled.

Katniss turned around, looking at the Hepheaustus table. Where is Shuda? she wondered, her glass of coke refilling for the 5th time.

Priscilla sat beside Katniss. "So you're the daughter of Athena? Niiiccce." she said, a mouthful of food. She was adorable, besides the food covering her face. The 12 year old stuffed even more food in her mouth. You could easily tell she didn't care what anyone thought.

Kamea could hear the faint sound of a hammer. She knew it was Shuda. She fixed a plate of food and brought it to the forge. "Um, here. Take this, you must be hungry." she said, sweetly, as she walked in.

Jaxal chuckled, dropping the remains of his pizza back onto his plate, getting up dump his plate into the fire. His grey eyes shone brightly in the dark, his laughter sweet-sounding to the ears of the popular girls who had been sitting beside him. "I'll be back." and he walked away.

Sheba left the other campers, walking in the dark back to her cabin. Along the way, she caught sight of a faint glowing. Hmmmm......could it be? She heard the clanking and sizzling and she knew her answer. She dashed blindly to her cabin, quickly stepping in and grabbing something long and leathery. It was a sheath. She then walked slowly to where she knew where swords and weapons were being worked on. "A blacksmith.." she murmured to herself as the light grew brighter. Soon enough, she stood in the doorway, looking curiously at the larger camper who was working intently on something. "Errr...." she started, too shy to think of something else to say.

(Ummmm...the Athena campers sit at the Athena table 'n stuff....isn't Prisciallia daughter of Zues?)

Katniss waited until she had finished another glass of coke and said, "Yeah My team always wins in the war games!"

(...they will have war games after dinner now :3)

(I know, but she doesn't play by the rules :3 Oh well, I'll make her get up if she has to)

Shdua turned his palms upwards and stared at his hands, as always they were un-burnt. Hepheatus' blessing would seem to last eternally. Though Shuda wasn't sure if it was a blessing or a curse. Campers who could control fire were considered bad luck. Whenever they appeared bad things followed. Not just for the Hephaestus cabin, or even Camp half-blood. But for the entire world. It was one of the reasons Shuda kept his strange power to himself. He told no one, it was his secret. One of his rare secrets.

Shuda picked up a used rag from where it lay on an unused anvil and quickly wiped his hands with it. Though he was immune to the dangerous heat of the flames, he still got ash and soot on him. Not to mention sweat. Shuda wiped his forehead, before walking over to a small basin in the corner. Long ago, a son of Poseidon had created it for his friend in the Hephaestus cabin. Now every Hepheatus camper used it.

Shuda turned the shell shapes handles and started washing his hands and face. He splashed water up to his bare elbows, washing off the soot. After a few moments, he turned the water off and now picked up a clean cloth from where they lay in a small cabinet at the base of the sink. He wiped down his arms and face. By now his stomach had let out a gentle rumble.

The sound of a high pitched voice turned Shuda around. He saw a girl holding a plate of food, he barley registered her words, before another girl came in behind her. His eyes flicked from the girls, to the food, to the sheath, to the girl holding the sheath, to the girl holding the food, to the food. His eyes locked on the food and he said "Thanks." before taking the held out plate.

(( err. shuda doesnt really have any friends. I guess everyone sorta knows him ( his weirdness has made him popular/ a topic for gossip?), though he doesnt really know anyone, except for some few people, like cabin leaders, and peeps in his own cabin. And even them, he knows by name only, except for a few npc's who he's talked to on rare occasion ))

"Do you think you'll get in trouble for being at the Athena table?" Katniss asked, not actually caring.

(Now I'm randomly thinking of random Percy-is-reatrded-he-doesn't-realize-Annabeth-loves-him moments XD! It triggered the memory of page 84 in the fourth book where Annabeth sat beside percy at the Posiedon table at dinner...

Priscilla shrugged, carelessly. "Who cares. It's so boring at the Zeus table, and besides, the more I hang with you guys, the more info I get to win." she said, biting into a roll.

"No problem." Kamea said sweetly, before walking away.

Sheba stood in the shadows, glad that the other girl was busy taking Shuda's attention while the tan-skinned girl tried to think about how she would recite her request. "Errr....Ex-excuse me, but....uhhhh.." She dropped the sheath she carried and dashed out of the room, heading back to her own cabin. Laying on the ground was an old looking leather sheath, worn from ages of use. On the sheath, enscripted into the binary was a name written in Greek. It read Μαύρος Θάνατο in faded grey lettering, its characters almost illegible. In the sheath was a sword, its handle stuck out, well polished and shining against the dull leather sheath.

Sheba then shrieked as she wondered what would happened to her sword. What if he can't fix the crack in Μαύρος Θάνατο. If he can't mend black sapphire, then surly no one can.

"I'm not saying anything!" Katniss said, laughing a little. She tore a chuck of meat off of a BBQ rib.

Chiron anounced that dinner was almost over, and that they would have war games tonight.

Shuda grunted. People were so weird. He stuck a slice of Olive pizza in his mouth, before setting the plate down on an anvil and walking over to the sheath. He picked up the sword, grasping it by the handle. As the hilt was grasped in his hand, a shiver went up his spine. There was something off about this blade. He could tell by holding it, from experience. He wasn't sure what was wrong, but he was about to find out. He took ahold of the sheath and held it in his left hand. The hilt in his right, he drew the blade from the sheath.

Don't make eye contact, don't make eye contact... Muire thought to herself, eating quickly and quietly. She hadn't been there as long as some others had and she hated the war games- fighting and angry people and...

Katniss glanced at Muire. "How was your day?" She asked.

(Sheba: Blue!!) Glistening in the dull light was a sharp black sword, red spirals forming ancient words and characters were engraved in the black stone and a large ruby sat on the center of the blade, right below the hilt of the sword. Deep cracks covered the lower part of the sword and the edges were dull and chipped. It was obvious that the girl who dropped it here had wanted it to be fixed and she only trusted the most skilled blacksmith to work on it.

(Jaxal's be red) Jaxal sat down on his bed, getting out his razor sharp daggers. "Ahh my friends. After our victory, I will sharpen you then treat myself to a game of Call of Duty: Black Ops."

"Pfft, I'm going to be on your team anyway!!" Priscilla laughed, punching Katniss in the shoulder, playfully.

Kamea returned to her table. She was lonely. I guess I'll be on the blue team.....or the red......uh

"It-it was f-f-fine. Th-thanks for showing me around earlier." Muire said quietly, glancing around as she pulled something out of her pocket and began fiddling with it. It was a small, bug shaped robot, about half finished, with cogs and gears still showing and out of place.

Priscilla pointed at Muire's food. "Ywou gwanna funush dat?" she asked, with a mouthful of food.

Murie fell backwards, startled. "You can have it!" She shouted from the floor.
