Thornpaw's Day Off

Thornpaw growled "No one asked for your life's story. Just go home." He said forcefully.

"I have a keen sense of smell......I bet I could find your friend.", she said, a bit irretated.

"Hmph, just let her come, maybe we'll get lucky and a dog will eat her." Copper meowed. "Lets move we're burning moon light." With that she turned around and jumped the wall.

Thornpaw chuckled, with amusement at Copper's comment. Thornpaw followed her, easily jumping to the top of the wall.

Ivypaw smurked, loving the fact that she wasn't affected by the she-cat's rude little comment. She climbed the wall after them, easily, getting some experience from when she was a rogue. Smells filled the air. Strange smells.

Unknown to the cats, they were being shadowed.

(Short sentence, I know, and I'm saying unknown to the cat's 'cause I dun want you to discover my charry yet. XD After I introduce them you can locate them.)

(I want in on da fuuun! XD Feel free to have Hawkpaw catch up with her ) Jewelpaw watched as Shinepaw entered camp, looking troubled. Knowing her sister, trying to pick through her thoughts would end up with Jewelpaw's ears getting shredded. Deciding against questioning her younger sister, the bright colored she cat walked out into the forest, her delicate paws thrumming softly against the frozen landscape. Her silver eyes glimmered with soft joy as tiny snowflake spiraled through short gusts of wind and frozen petal seemed to dance on the Leafbare breeze. What caught her attention was where her sister's stale scent came from, a part of the territory where she had yet to venture. Shinepaw must have gone hunting after checking that place out. Poor Shinepaw, she must feel terrible that she can't hunt. No matter how hard she tries, she's yet to catch a single piece of prey and she's nearly a warrior. And with her attitude and energy, she probably wouldn't make a very good permanent queen. Just look at our mother! Grumbling at the fact that her mother's hyper energy drove her from the Nursery out into the Great, open Wild to explore, Jewelpaw couldn't hide the fact that she wished to go explore too. "Maybe just a little peek at that hidden bit of territory?"

Ice of the Feather silently slipped through the alleys. Trinity had allowed him to take a bit of a break, so he was now free to explore on his own. The young tom's ears were pricked and his eyes scanned the shadows intently. He didn't want to be surprised by any enemy who might be lurking around.

Thornpaw glanced back at Ivypaw as he followed Copper. Then quickly shifted his glance back to the front. At present, it wasn't too a big a deal to him that Ivypaw was here. he was more worried about Mercury. They had to find her!

Ice paused. He could both hear and scent a group of cats, and not all had the familiar scent of the alleys on them. Who are those cats? he wondered. He slunk into the shadows, alongside the path they were taking, and waited for them to pass by.

Ivypaw stopped. "ummmm...guys? I smell a cat nearby.", she said. Her tail flicked sharply. She was ready for a fight.

Ice's reddish-orange gaze glinted from the shadows, and he unsheathed his claws nervously. Will they find me? And if so, are they going to attack?

Suddenly, a cat appered behind Ice, her tail flicking. "Hey.", she whispered sharply.

Ice spun around, his white fur bristling.

Copper's head shot up. "Ice?" She asked looking around surprise. "Is that you?" What would he be doing so far from base?

The she-cat's dark purple eyes were glistening. The cross marking on her forehead stood out in the shadows. "Greetings young one.", she smiled.

Ice exhaled and relaxed. "Copper?" he meowed with a glance in her direction.

Copper peered around the corner. "It is you. What are you doing so far from home?" She asked. (is that Trinity?)

Thornpaw looked up, he had heard much about the Shaman and her apprentice. Though he had never actually met them in person.

"I wanted to explore this part of the alleys," Ice replied. He trotted over to her. "I've never been here. Who're these cats with you?"

"He-hello?" A small female voice stammered nervously, and a she cat stepped forward into the light. She had a dark black pelt with a silver stripe from the tip of her tail to her nose, and it branched off past her eyes and circled her neck. She was certainly no Resistance cat, but didn't smell of the Rogue Queen's ranks, either. "Wh-who are you cats?"

Trinity cocked her head. "Do you not notice me, young one?", she asked. She always called him young one, even though she was only 20 moons herself. She stepped out of the darkness, her beautiful tan fur glistening. The dark brown markings on her shined. "Hello. I am Trinity.", she said. Her voice sounded wise.

Copper was about to introduce the cats with her when the new cat showed up. Copper tipped her head. "Who are you?" She asked. The cat didn't seem to be a threat so Copper kept her claws sheathed.

"Ah!" The beautiful she-cat exclaimed, jumping back as Trinity came into view. "Wh- why are there so many of you?" She asked, bright blue eyes glistening in fear as her tail twitched nervously. "I-I'm Pand- Pandora."
