Frostclan: Stay Out of the Shadows -OFFICIAL-

Rosethorn padded slowly through the forest, wary of rogue-queen servants that may be hiding deep in the forest.

"You're stupid." Swiftpaw said. "Mom's in camp." Her head dropped her head to her paws again. She said all of this seriously, as if she actually meant that Sparrowpaw was stupid. Well, you can't expect someone to tell good jokes at a time like this.

"Is everything alright? I understand that your clan is going through some hard times." Said a calm, gentle voice as Star padded towards Sparrowpaw and Swiftpaw.

Sparrowpaw chuckled to himself. "No, everything is fine we're just doing some hunting!" he meowed sarcastically, and harshly. He spat at Star.

(Is Waterheart dead......?)

Thunder looked around intently, his golden eyes reflecting the same wariness his mother showed. I never thought I'd actually go back to Frostclan...

(Noooo...? If I said yes jsl would drive back to Sacramento and gouge out my eyes with a spoon.)

Star showed no change in emotion. "I apologize if I interrupted something. Please forgive me."

Coal carefully sniffed his surroundings and rotated his ears regularly. Rosethorn felt a difference in the air as they approached camp, as though a dark cloud had been lifted but had left a heavy sadness in the air.

Honeypaw sighed and dashed through the the forest, his paws feeling like they were floating on air.

Shineeye yawned, curling her tail over her paws that were covering the limp shrew.

Sparrowpaw blushed a little. "Who are you?" he asked randomly.

"Star, son of Realta." Replied the cat. "I shall leave now." He turned to leave.

"Wait! Who's Realta?" Sparrowpaw asked, thoroughly confused. He got up.

Rosethorn picked up the pace and was soon running next to her sons through the forest, the greenery flashing by at an astounding rate.

"My father." Star replied, confused. "It is a custom where I come from to name our father when we introduce ourselves." He vanished into the shadows.

Thunder easily lengthened his stride to keep up. He occasionally turned his gaze to his mother and brothers, but now mostly looked forward to avoid running into something.

The black tabby got to his paws and began walking briskly out of camp. And to think I have to return to the place I hate the most just to see the ones I love the most. Oh well, as long as they're safe. He nearly ran into Rosethorn, swerving to avoid her and he slammed into a tree. "Great Starclan!" he cursed and Honeypaw giggled.

Sparrowpaw nodded, and watched Star dissapear. He lay back down next to Swiftpaw. "Swiftpaw," he murmerd softly.

Thunder abruptly braked, nearly falling onto his face as he struggled to fully stop his momentum from pushing him forward.

Swiftpaw twitched her ears. "Yeah?" She mumbled, tired.

Rosethorn stumbled then looked up at the tom, she looked liked she was about to cry. "I thought.. I thought.." She jumped at him and knocked him to the ground. "Don't ever do that again!"

Darkstar chuckled and mewed through clenched teeth. "Do what? Get pushed off a cliff for being leader? I hope it doesn't happen again." He laughed and meowed,"My boys! And my lovely mate!" Honeypaw dived onto his father, landing on his belly, laughing and crying at the same time.

"I don't know. We should probably get back to camp," Sparrowpaw mewed softly. He nervously sheathed and unsheathed his claws.

Thunder had regained his balance and just stood there with a slightly surprised look.

"Do we have to?" Mumbled Swiftpaw, in a tired stupor.

Darkstar looked at Thunder, eyes glowing proudly. "Well? You gonna give your father a hello?" he joked.

Thunder abruptly grinned. "Hello, father. That better?"

Rosethorn rubbed her head against his chest. "I missed you, everything just went wrong after after, You were pushed!" She finally took it in. Coal climbed on his fathers head. "I knew you wouldn't of fallen." The young tom meowed.
