"I'll come along," Sparkstorm offered. The golden she-cat padded over to Thornheart. "Not like there's anything better to do."

Thornheart nodded, in agreement with the tabby cat. He quickly glanced around, seeing if anyone else was in the mood for hunting.

The kit mewed softly, shivering. It tried to stand but didn't achieve it. She wriggled and sneezed repeatedly. She continued mewing, hoping someone would find her.

Lavendermoon padded through the forest, looking for prey. She didn't want to go with Thornheart and Sparkstorm. Being alone when it came to hunting was much better. All of a sudden the graceful she-cat saw a helpless kitten shivering. "Oh, you poor baby!!" she cried. She ran over to it and picked it up, and began to walk back to camp.

The kit mewed even louder, having still not opened its eyes. It didn't know what was going on. She shook furiously with fear and sickness.

Lavendermoon kept a fast pace until she got to camp. She padded into the nursery and put the kit next to Rivermist. "Rivermist, I found this kitten out by itself. Can you feed it?"

The kit tried to get up, but couldn't because of its broken leg. It couldn't see what was going on around it, so it was even more afraid.

Rivermist nodded dutifully. "Come here, little one," She mewed soothingly. Then she saw its broken leg. She picked it up gently, and sat it down right in front of her belly where Rubykit was suckling.

Lavendermoon gasped. "Aw it's leg is broken....." she said, softly.

The kit quickly began suckling and was soon full. She backed off and lied down, still shivering slightly.

"You know, I only have one kit... Rivermist, correct? If it'd be easier on you, I could take care of that one," Thalia offered timidly.

Sparkstorm glanced around camp. Nobody else? Too bad.

Spiritsong stuck her head into the nursery. "Heard the word broken. Something hap-" she saw the new kit's broken leg and winced in sympathy. "I'll be back." She withdrew from the nursery.

((Lalala...XD Kit doesn't even have a name yet... How sad ))

Rivermist glanced at Jewelfire. "Aren't you suckling the kits of that rogue that died?" She asked.

(Is she? *feels retarded*)

((My kit was just randomly found in the middle of the woods/forest...))

Thalia fell silent again and layed her head onto her paws.

Spiritsong fetched a few herbs to help the injured kit, then headed back into the nursery.

"Since Emeraldkit just died I'll be able to take one more," Rivermist mewed, gently cleaning the new kit,
