Frostclan: Stay Out of the Shadows -OFFICIAL-

Gladebound pointed his nose over to where Kamph had come from, the scent of prey leaving the area. "I don't go close to that place...No one does." Then a mottled grey tabby tom walked up, surprisingly bulking despite being starved. "I'll take you to him." It was Gravelbones, Boulderclan's former leader.

Swiftpaw rolled her eyes and worked on looking unfazed by the whole scene, like she didn't really care. That's what they were shooting for, right? To pass as Alley cats?

Steel nodded. "Lead they way then." He growled. Fallow left Solarpaw and padded back over to her companions. "I couldn't tell." She whispered to Shark. "Sometimes it looked like her chest was rising, but it could of just been the wind." Fallow was the youngest cat to come from the Alleys, she was here because they needed a healer, though she wasn't a Shaman.

Gravelbones looked at Fallow and mewed,"She's fine. She's our strongest apprentice and probably our healthiest cat here. She's only resting from her day long hunt yesterday...Garth was getting greedy with the prey and even he isn't fully fed." He led them to a small clearing behind the back of the camp where Garth sat in the center, surrounded with slightly less fed rogues, though they were still full. Only a ragged golden tom sat proudly, though his ribs bulged and his eyes were closed painfully. His tail stump twitched shortly and he shook his head as a rogue offered him half a mouse.

"She needs months of recovery time and a full belly if she's going to get better." Fallow snapped, though she stopped her rant before they got to Garth, she didn't care, she had to remind herself. Steel walked just behind Gravelbones, Shark padding at his side.

(Sure....I SHALL KEEP SILENT!)

Goldenstreak looked up at the cats, his eyes slits. "Garth, you know my choice. And I shall go at sunhigh." Garth growled, but had no reply. After a long moment, he hissed,"Fine. Flee back to Flameclan, evil beast, but you will never be allowed back here in Shadow Tribe!" His grey eyes transfered over to Steel and Gravelbones, a smile on his face. "Well, when Malien came back with news of new recruits from the Queen, I never thought they would be such a proud looking group. Gravelbones, dismissed. Please, friends, take a seat. And some prey. We have plenty."

((Every one can know. Fallow is actually Copper, she uses mud and dirt to hide the true colour of her fur.))

Steel didn't want to eat, and neither did the other alley cats, it was in their nature to feed the weak first. He garbed a large rabbit anyway and pulled it towards himself, Shark and Eagle joined him. Fallow grabbed a squirrel and sat down on the ground, her green eyes flicking this way and that.

(Oh, I see XD)

Garth studied the new cats and meowed,".....I don't recognize you....Are you sure you were sent from Her Grace?"

"Her Grace does not take kindly to having her choices questioned, you do remember what happened to the last cat who questioned her? You were there Garth. The she-cats name was quite apt, Jitter, her body twitched for a long time after her neck was slashed open." Steel meowed, giving a toothy smile. Oh yes, one of their Scouts had seen that display, also seen how Garth had watched from the Queen's side as she set her elite guards on the poor young cat.
"We are from The Brood." Shark rasped. "Our Queen has honed our claws from kit-hood. She would not allow an outsider like you into the brood, you know that, we know that. We also know what happened to the cat you sent to scout out the brood." He growled, teeth bloody from the rabbit. That piece of information had come from Dante.
Eagle bobbed her head in agreement and buried her face into the bloody rabbit.
Fallow sat, gnawing on her squirrel, glaring at anyone who dared to meet her eyes.

The Brood where vicious blood thirsty monsters, everyone knew they existed, but only the Broodlings themselves spoke of it.

Garth grinned and meowed,"Very well then. I believe I shall visit Her Grace, to explain my progress to her. Make yourselves at home as Menegle is in charge." (WB)

"Progress." Shark rasped. "The Queen knows how weak your tribe is Garth. The cats are starving, they are no use in battle, how is Her Grace to take over if her western forces can barely keep themselves alive?" He growled standing up from his food. The grey tom wondered why Garth hadn't recognised him, had he changed so much? Jabb had leaped for joy when he had been reunited with his litter mates by The Resistance, and had gladly told them all he knew about the Queen. He had rolled in a puddle of bleach then one of dye to change his fur colour from sandy brown to grey, he was also healthier then he had been under the Queen. If Garth did recognise him... well Garth wouldn't live long after that. If their cover was blown they were instructed to kill.

(Garth isn't going to recognise him, at least not yet.)

Garth snorted and hissed,"These clan cats are not part of my army. The prey here is scarce and only used for my cats. The rest of my army is well fed and ready for the call of battle to ring their ears. This clan's cats are only used hunting and doing dirty work, they work quite well if you endanger one of their one. It makes them weak. And us stronger."

Shark snorted and watched Garth walk away, the cats had something extra to add to their plan. Find Garth's army. "The Queen wonders if she may dissect your brain when you die, she wonders how you work." Fallow meowed with a smile at Garth, which caused the 'broodlings' to break into raucous laughter, the clan cats took the hint and started as well. Filling the camp with the sound, oh yes, the Alley cats knew exactly how the broodlings acted, Jabb had made certain of that.

Garth's ears twitched and meowed,"You know....I don't believe I need these cats anymore. In a week times, I and my cats shall leave this dying clan and set out to find a new place to take, starting at my backup camp to gather more of my army. Then our sights are set on Riker's group. After taking them, we shall then gain more followers by that time and Frostclan shall be our main target. I know that Smolderstar is dead and has been replaced by that weakling Darkstar. After we take the forest for Her Grace, I shall then earn her respect by taking over the mountains, as a gift to the Queen."

Shark's eyes narrowed, he had been one of the Queen's closest Slasher's, before she had almost killed him in a rage. He had been there through most of her dealings with Garth, she had never mentioned Riker to him. Riker was rarely known through the Alleys, the Resistance was only just catching on.

Steel was only just able to stoop his tail from twitching.

(Should I switch over to Rogue Queen?)

(Sure....I think? Garth shall meet her over in the Alley RP.)

At the request of food, Swiftpaw, now Bloodmaw, apparently, sat down and replied with a simple 'I'm not hungry.' If the way to impress these folks was strength, then they'd certainly be impressed with this young cat.

Fallow took her squirrel and padded away from the rest, she made to look as though she was going to through it in a nearby stream, instead she discreetly handed it off to a tired looking queen. She said nothing and neither did the older she cat. "Worst squirrel I've ever had." She growled. Steel stood up and turned around, walking out of the area with the well fed rogues, broodlings stuck together.

(Pretend the clan cats where filled in on their cover on the way there.)

Sparrowpaw stayed close to the cats, glancing around nervously. He hated his fake name, Grayspot.

(Back at the Shadow Tribe!)

A plan had rolled into motion, several of Garth's head rogue's were dead in their nests and the Queens and Kits were being escorted across the river into FrostClan territory. Steel was stalking through the camp. They had yet to find where Garth's main army was hidden and that was worrying him.

(Have to go now guys, sorry.)

(So they killed Kamph, Menegle, and a few random others...What about Ghosteyes and a few of the loners who now trust the ways of clan life and Starclan?? That would be Shivershock, Antpaw, and Cricket[another apprentice].)

(They wouldn't have killed them. And The Resistance has orders to protect Ghosteyes.)

Mossmask, now Iceleaf, observed the other cats nervously. This was a little scary.

(Alright) Gladebound stared at the bodies and Gravelbones said nothing, only sitting down on a large pile of pebbles, rumbling beneath his weight. "Rainbowspring.......She'll be our new medicine cat." he muttered softly, then raised his head and yowled,"Rainbowspring shall be our new Medicine cat! She knows the most about herbs, more than anyone of us here now." The clan dipped their heads, other who couldn't move cried out in agreement.

Soulpaw glanced at Shineeye, who was now going by Slade, and meowed softly,"Do you think they'll make it? To bring a clan up from the rubble is almost impossible. Starclan was surprised to see how Oceanstar had...But these cats, they've nearly lost all hope."

Shineeyes didn't know what to say. She had often thought as a younger cat that she had given up on hope, but she really never did. These cats, however, have and it made the half blind warrior sick with grief.
