Thornpaw picked up a rat, as he picked it up in his maw. He could smell the scent of Lasair on it, he carried it over to the apprentice's den. He sat just inside the den, where there was no snow and started eating.

Rust walked into the den and sat next to him. "What's the leader's problem? "Why is he such a grouch?", Rust asked Thornpaw.

Thornpaw shrugged "Who knows? He is a bit weird." His nose twitched, he could smell Jewelpaw behind him, farther inside the Den.

(( ??? Chibi, I think you might have left off Quotation marks Its a bit hard to tell between thoughts and dialogue without them ))

Thornpaw looked at Rust puzzled "I thought she was your sister." he said as he watched Ivy at the fresh-kill pile.

"No, she's not, but I consider her as a sister." When we were all kits we were in the same clan." A fire hit our clan and Ivy, Lavender and i were all alone." We traveled for 6&1/2 months until you cats found us." "But Lavender and Ivy are sisters."

(( You don't need new quotation marks for each sentence. You use the same ones until you put a break into the dialogue for action or thoughts. Like Below ))

Thornpaw nodded "Sounds like a long journey. Must have been hard." He didn't say what the typical cat would, 'I'm sorry.' because it would be a lie. He wasn't sorry and it wasn't his fault. "Where was you clan from?" he asked.

"I didn't ask." Thornpaw said a bit coldly standing up, he didn't care much for other cat's sob stories. "If you plan on on not joining the clan, I suggest you hunt and return an equal amount of prey as you ate." Thornpaw said with a flick of his tail, as he padded away.

Thornpaw padded out of the camp, his paws trudged threw the snow. He was now over the strange phenomena of snow.

Smolderstar padded out of his den and to the fresh-kill pile, picking up a rat. It was pretty much all they had now, all the other prey was gone. Phoenixtalon would have to get over the fact that there were rats in the pile, because soon, that would be all there was. He was still wondering how Lasair and Aigean figured out which ones were diseased and which ones weren't.
