Frostclan: Stay Out of the Shadows -OFFICIAL-

"Shinepaw!" Riverpaw yowled and followed Jewelpaw into the med. cat's den.

Rust ran after her toward the medicine cat's den.

Shinepaw gasped and looked around. "What?!" She saw Jewelpaw, Rust, and Riverpaw standing before her. "I-its still early. Why is everyone awake?" Jewelpaw looked at her paws and mewed,"Who's...umm...Foxstar?" Shinepaw blushed, embarrassed. "Did I wake you guys?"

"No, we were already awake. Jewelpaw and I had nightmares and Rust stayed up with me. Are you all right?" Riverpaw meowed.

"you ok?", Rust asked. He looked worried.

Shinepaw's eyes widened. "Y-you all had nightmares too?! Well, i was speaking with Foxstar, one of Petalmist's kin from Crystalclan, but then a dark nothingness took over us, eating us whole and burning us from the inside out." Jewelpaw winced and meowed,"Mine had me, Smolderstar, and Hawkpaw in it. It seemed as if the world was dying, breaking apart. Striking lightning, crashing waves, and exploding seas. The we were engulfed by an unholy darkness, falling into an endless pit of misery and sorrow." She shuttered. Shinepaw turned to Riverpaw and meowed,"What about you? What happened in your dream?"

"In my dream Oceanfeather and Soulthunder were there and I asked them about Pheasantpaw. They said that he, Tigerclaw, and Darkstar were all killed by the same person and then the whole world was envoloped in darkness. It felt like a was falling into an abyss of sorrow and pain" Riverpaw meowed, leaving out the part about Rust.

Rust sat there quietly.

Honeykit stumbled out of the nursery quietly. Jewelpaw and Shinepaw grew silently and the two laid down, pretending to sleep as they secretly watched the young kit who mumbled to himself. "O-ok....this way, Vulturewing?" He pointed to a the warriors den. "Cherrywing's in there."

Rust layed down, pretending to sleep too.

(I DIDN'T GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO DO THAT!!!! I don't mind though )

Vulturewing purred evily. "Thank you" he said. He half-floated half-padded into the den where Cherrywing was.

(Sorry bout that....I guess you could improvise I just remembered that it was Vulturewing who had told Cherrywing to kill Tigerclaw......She hasn't been RPed for a LONG time ) Honeykit nodded, a little scared of the creepy cat. He's a Starclan warrior. I'll just have to get use to speaking with dead cats...but...this one seems a little ........off.

Rust could sense evil on this cat and he didn't like it. If he hurts anyone in this clan he's gonna end up scampering up to starclan with his tail between his legs., Rust thought.

(k I'll improvise and Vulturewing is a tom)

Vulturewing went up to Cherrywing. "Cherrywing" He called, his voice sounded calm bit it was extremely scary at the same time.

(I know he's a tom, I was talking about Tigerclanw. She hasn't been RPed in a while ) Cherrywing's ears pricked up and he gasped softly. He whispered,"Vulturewing?! I thought I was finished doing your little dirty jobs like taking out Tigerclaw......What is it?!" (And no one else can hear him, so NO SNEAKY KITTIES!! XD)

"Yes, i know and you did great with Tigerclaw but some apprentices are close to finding out your secrets. It would be best to take them out now, and make it look like an accident" Vulturewing meowed with an evil grin.

Cherrywing's eyes widened. "No, that can't be true...only Pheasantpaw knew...and he's dead. Goldenstreak killed him. They dumped him in the river. He's dead! And besides, if they found out, they wouldn't blame me. They would either blame those new cats or Goldenstreak or Icefern. Its no worry to me. I will not take them out! Good bye Vulturewing." and he laid down.

"No! Cherrywing, listen! Riverpaw has been having dreams, Soulthunder and Oceanfeather has already told her that Pheasantpaw, Darkstar, and Tigerclaw's deaths were tied to one cat and Pheasantpaw told her that there was a traitor in the clan. Riverpaw has fallen in love with Rust so she wouldn't blame anything on him either" Vulturewing yowled, now furious.

Cherrywing growled and hissedm"Then we'll have to change their path. I'll capture one of my two pawns and hold them here in camp. Then they'll believe that the traitor is one of them. Easy!"

"Your very clever, good-bye for now" Vulturewing mewed and dissapeared into the shadows.

Cherrywing wore a smug grin and laid his head back down, drifting off into a pleasant sleep.

Honeykit had wandered back to his nest, already sleeping, but Jewelpaw sat out in the dark by the fresh kill pile. She wouldn't even try to fall back asleep since she was too terrified that the nightmare would return. She just yawned and waited for morning to arrive.

Riverpaw yawned. "I'm gonna try to go to sleep" She mewed to Rust. Riverpaw padded into the apprentices den and drifted into a dreamless sleep.

Ah yes Cherrywing is a good cat Vulturewing thought With Riverpaw's suspicitions shot down his evil can be continued

Rust followed Riverpaw into the den and fell asleep. He was so caught up with Riverpaw that he didn't notice that Ivy was still in the woods.

The question is, how evil can he be if he continues to fall for some kittypet? Shadewind's voice entered. It was rich and devilish. How can you expect to count on him if he's just going to get softer? I have a better plan......

Riverpaw woke up with a pleasant feeeling. She then remembered the happenings of the previous day. She was glad that Rust loved her but also conflicted about Pheasantpaw. She thought about what the cat's had said in her dream. There is a traitor among you. Darkstar, Pheasantpaw, and Tigerclaw were all killed by the same cat They had siad. Riverpaw silently watched the slow rise and fall of Rust's flank.
